52:00 - 52:30 become more alive and fully Alive like Christ and so we've had a spiritual health check which we've conducted for three years now we over 800 people each year sometimes more sometimes a little bit closer to 800 have actually answered questions around their spiritual walk that includes so many of you and we've got those results we've analyzed them we've looked at them over the last 3 years and I am so excited so glad to report to you that we are becoming Fully Alive like Christ in this inward area of

54:30 - 55:00 multiplication in new low so what does overflowing life mean for you what does overflowing life mean for you personally and what does it mean for us as a church as you've heard one of the pictures one of the images which has captured our imagination as we've thought through and prayed into this area over a number of years now is the image of an overflowing cup it could be a teacup could be a cup of water could be a cup of Coca-Cola any
55:00 - 55:30 one of those images are a powerful thing which has helped us to embrace and think about what this might mean for us as we enter into two years of overflowing life I think one of the reasons why it's such a powerful image and has a prophetic element to us over these next two years is because it's thoroughly based on scripture if you go to Psalm 23 which so many of you will be familiar with in about verse five it begins to talk about how in the presence of our enemies God anoints our head with oil and our cup
55:30 - 56:00 overflows now first a little bit of an aside overflowing life isn't just for when everything's going well in this scripture it's talking about in the presence of our enemies when things might not be going so well when there might be a few challenges that we are facing we can still experience the anointing of God's presence and we can still experience the overflowing cup that God pours out into our life now I believe in the Bible when the holy
56:00 - 56:30 spirit gives us a picture or an image it's a good thing to pause as it says in Psalms have a sea moment a moment's pause when you really reflect on what does that natural image communicate to us spiritually in terms of our walk with God and our life as a church and so I want to pause for a minute and reflect on that image of an overflowing cup from Psalm 23 and imagine what it might mean for our vision of overflowing life over the next 2 years now to help me do that

57:00 - 57:30 spirit poured out in their life but I want us to think about this as a church as well let's imagine here's the Holy Spirit and here are our church services and here are some of our Ministries and our life groups well we want to minister we want to be people who serve God out of the Overflow and we are both open to receiving from God as he pours out his Spirit life into our life we want to come into that place of overflowing life but we can also be people who pour out
57:30 - 58:00 God's spirit Ministers of God's holy spirit into the lives of others and we pour out God's spirit into another life group or another person we come along to the church services here we experience the grace and the power of God and then we take that into our communities into our Nations into our job places into our life groups and we pour that out into the lives of others so I hope you see the corporate picture here now let's pause let's think about this for a moment let's say we just come along to
58:00 - 58:30 church service and we continually receiving the Holy Spirit and he's been poured out to our lives and we have the Overflow happening praise God there's the Overflow but notice one thing three things maybe four things can happen when our life begins to overflow first of all that overflow May simply spill over and it will go to other places but it's kind of like wasted it's not utilized but what if we received that overflow and then we began to pour out our life into the lives of others into other life
58:30 - 59:00 groups then we see multiplication happening you know we can be in a place where we're just continually receiving receiving receiving from God but God wants us to pour that out into other people's lives now for that happen and not just to waste the Overflow what do we need to do we need to be prepared we need to have other vessels other relationships other life groups where we can actually be involved and connected with and I believe this is a power ful picture of how overflowing life healthy filled with
59:00 - 59:30 the Holy Spirit full of the power of God can lead to healthy multiplication in our lives individually as we minister to others but also with life girs and Ministries notice one more thing there's so much we can get out of this image when you pour out this water into this cup and it overflows just spills over it doesn't stay in the same location it goes over the border into new locations and that's even more powerfully the case
59:30 - 60:00 if we take some of the what we have received of God and begin to pour it out into other people's lives it's in a new location it's in another place and I believe this Geographic dimension of overflowing life is a very important and a very biblical image imagine for example we just had one container here and the holy spirit's poured out there and we want to be Ministers of the Holy Spirit and so here we have we have a whole queue of people lining up here and we're saying herey have another drink and then the next person comes have another drink that's a very inefficient
60:00 - 60:30 way of using the Overflow what if instead we take that and we pour that out into these other vessels they could be life groups they could be Ministries and other locations and then we come before God and he begins to pour out in our church services again and there's this constant inflow and outflow into other places other Ministries other life groups then you get an even greater potential for Ministry EXP expansion now we're told in habac I think it's chapter 2:14 that the Earth shall be filled with
60:30 - 61:00 the glory of the Lord the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea and I believe this is a picture of what God is doing when he pours out a spirit into individual people's lives into those containers and we take God that spirit and then we pour it out into the lives of others including into our life groups and our Ministries and individually in our workplaces then God's glory begins to multiply out of the Overflow not out of lack but out of the abundance of God's presence we see healthy multiplication

66:00 - 66:30 Rome we prayed about that we've thought about that as a church but first of all let me talk about it for you individually it's fascinating here in Australia did you realize that in Australia on average people move homes once 13 times during their lifetime that's once every 6 and 1/2 years that means in the next 2 years of overflowing life almost 30% of you will be in a new location you'll be in a new suburb a new Street and what about regarding that as
66:30 - 67:00 part of the mission that God has called you to Jesus tells us in Matthew as you go it sounds like it's a command go but it's actually in the Greek as you go as you go to your new neighborhood your new location your new home your new job your new vocation your new ministry area As You Go Make Disciples what of every nation once again that Geographic Dimension so I believe some of you just as you go God is going to take you to new locations and you're going to take that overflowing life of God's kingdom
67:00 - 67:30 wherever you are but let's think about this for us as a church as a church we also believe as we work together and pray together and act together into this overflowing life Dimension we are going to multiply over the next two years healthy sites life groups and Ministries into over a hundred new locations that includes new cities new nations and new communities by the end of 2026 practically speaking that means we're going to multiply life groups

80:30 - 81:00 just commit this year into a year of overflow Holy Spirit we ask that you will just be so active um bring the increase this year Lord we trust you completely not in our strength but in yours alone um in the name of Jesus we pray all these things amen amen to him be all the glory I am so excited about this year I'm so excited about seeing what our RS all look like at the end of this year and how God really lives in into those spaces in us and through us and so my prayer for all of you thank you so much for for letting me go on
