• 56:00 - 56:30 so I I know some of you guys have some questions about like how we approach certain Feats like um the in particular with omn man the whole how we determined how how strong he is and how durable he is and the incorporation of the solar disc and the planet's destruction so I do want to just note that um I've seen a lot of questions about like how we interpreted uh Theus statement that like they have a list of weapons can hurt vites or whatever um thinking that it's kind of a vague statement and I do want
• 56:30 - 57:00 to emphasize that like as we say in the episode it's not just a single statement it is a multi-arc storyline in Invincible it's actually started in the Animated Series if you've kept up with that uh it's like it goes on for like 30 issues of the comic um building up to their ability to actually hurt vites it's it's pretty significant that they do not have weapons that can hurt vites and yeah it is a spaceship with with a cannon that obviously doesn't function in a one-on-one fight that the same way

• 58:00 - 58:30 making um I know a lot of people like really focused on this part of the episode because we do spend a decent amount of time talking about the planet and maybe we just shouldn't have done that but uh the planet's destruction is not part of the arguments really was mainly there at least the thought process there was to kind of showcase how um vites do match up to Sans in a General level that was basically it but the what's actually happening in the um
• 58:30 - 59:00 in the explosion is also fascinating so to to to detail it the feat is omn Man Mark and thus and Space Racer are all involved in destroying this planet Space Racer fires the infinity Ray through the planet and then the vites follow the infinity Ray through it and Theta says we have to be quick um because they could die if they hit the core before it restabilized
• 59:00 - 59:30 because the infinity Ray is destabilizing the core um that's that's what the feat is um taking the statement that thus makes that they could die if they hit the core wrong I don't really feel comfortable hinging an argument on omn man losing based on just that statement because unlike the statement about the the weapons uh this is just a singular statement and it's also an antifeat so I don't know just doesn't seem like something that's worth hanging an entire argument around um it's also
• 59:30 - 60:00 an unknown factor they don't really know what's going to happen when they hit the core they've never done this before uh especially since the fact the way they destroy the planet is really bizarre because I think the biggest question about all this the infinity Ray hits the planet hits the core and all it does is destabilize the core and this thing can B but the infinity r is introduced as a sunbuster yeah it literally passes through like the way it's introduced in
• 60:00 - 60:30 both the cartoon and the comic the infinity Ray destroys stars in fact in the comic specifically it mentions that the way it works is it passes through anything and keeps going there are Rays out there still going destroying multiple planets and stars in its path so what the [ __ ] is vilum how the hell does it just get destabilized uh so this is a big question that the comic doesn't really have a good answer for and I actually think it might be really interesting um
