Questions, answered
What counts as an MCP?
A public Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants connect to tools or data. Hosted and open source projects are welcome, subject to our listing guidelines.
What do you need from me?
Sign in and provide your MCP name and public URL to start. After payment, add a useful description and documentation link, then publish. Features, tags and installation instructions help builders understand your MCP.
We already have a tool listing. Is this different?
Yes. An AI tool listing introduces your product. An MCP listing appears in our MCP directory and helps builders understand how to use your server with AI assistants. You can launch an AI tool or talk to sales about both.
Is newsletter promotion included?
Newsletter sponsorship is available separately. The MCP launch includes your listing, 4 homepage days, and posts on X and LinkedIn. Explore newsletter sponsorship for a bigger campaign.
Who can submit an MCP?
The owner, or someone authorized to represent it. If the URL matches an eligible existing listing, we connect it to your account after payment. If it’s already managed by someone else, we help resolve the ownership question.
Can I update my listing later?
Yes. Your dashboard lets you edit details, save a private draft, publish or unpublish, and manage your subscription. The listing subscription renews annually until cancelled.
