The pricing for Black Forest Labs' API starts at 2.5 credits per image, with $1 equaling 100 credits. The advanced model, Flux1.1 Pro, costs 4 credits per image and is claimed to generate images six times faster than its predecessor, Flux1 Pro. With the ability to scale up to 2k resolution and improvements in image quality and prompt adherence, Flux1.1 Pro is also available through partners like Together AI, Replicate, Fal.AI, and Freepik.

Recently, Black Forest Labs made headlines due to its controversial partnership with xAI that integrated the Flux models into Grok without sufficient safety measures, leading to the creation of objectionable imagery.
