00:30 - 01:00 the hardest problems of your life so let's begin firstly let's talk about what is non-resistance now I'm going to break it down in three different ways the first aspect of non-resistance is quite simple it is learning to be in total allowance of the contents of this moment so let's practice that together here and now currently I'm sure the contents of your present moment are are fairly
01:00 - 01:30 neutral you are sitting and watching this video perhaps there is some life circumstance that is not to your liking um but immediately in your immediate circumstance no there's no danger to you most likely everything is fairly neutral so let's first start here Here and Now can you be in total allowance just for the moment forget about later forget about before forget about about what this will
01:30 - 02:00 turn into here and now you learn to see this experience Through The Eyes of total acceptance and what that means is just for now you don't need anything to be different it's like for a moment we place down our desires and fears our preferences and judgments
02:00 - 02:30 we are just looking at this experience and allowing it to be actually it has already Arisen so it is already allowed to be from life now I come in and I start to judge and resist even though life has already allowed this experience to arise in this moment I come in with my judgment I say I know what's better for me I constantly filter this present moment through

03:30 - 04:00 another way we can look at it is going with the flow of Life how many times has something happened to you and you notice your mind instantly rejecting it because it is considered a loss or it is considered a negative event but how many times has that happened in our lives where the very negative event turns into something so positive later on so you can see that the way we behave is very limited the way that we are
04:00 - 04:30 conditioned to react to circumstances is very limited in this particular point in time and space learning to like take a step back from reaction and allowing the flow of life to take care of things on its own is the art that we are now learning with this practice of non-resistance we no longer react to every single thing that happens

08:30 - 09:00 conditioning the response comes very instantly without our doing it it just happens you know like you notice like let's say you get into an argument with your partner or family member or friend reactions just happen responses just happen triggers just happen now we are learning to observe those reactions rather than identifying with them what does it mean to identify with them it means to take those reactions to be what you are and and that is what we do on a normal basis we
09:00 - 09:30 take those mental and emotional impulses and that's what they are because they're happening randomly they're happening without our control they're happening compulsively unconsciously on a regular day we just identify with them we take those mental narratives and points of view to be true to be me and mine and we take those emotions those feelings to be me to be mine now we are learning to observe we
09:30 - 10:00 are learning to objectify them so let's say you get into an argument and you noticed your mind getting riled up your emotions getting turbulent there's a greater degree of awareness presence where you're no longer just identified with those thoughts and you just spew out whatever they say or allow them to influence your action instead you are the presence behind the thinking from where you see the
10:00 - 10:30 thinking you are the presence behind the emotion subtler than the emotion prior to the emotion from where you see the emotion you can observe the emotion without identifying you can observe the emotion without buying into it you can observe the emotion even though it's unpleasant you can observe the thought without believing in what it says from here a greater

11:30 - 12:00 inconveniences and annoying things that maybe the people around you do or certain little problems that arise throughout the course of a day and that equips us to be able to maintain that firm presence even when big things happen which give you the appearance of a greater personal loss where resistance is so strong now the second component of this is
12:00 - 12:30 learning to observe how you know your mind is not only reacting to circumstances it is also just reacting to itself so what happens is just a big pile of resistance the mind not only resists what is happening it literally starts to resist its own reactions to what is happening for example let's say someone said something that you don't like the resistance to that is it arises in the form of anger
12:30 - 13:00 but because anger doesn't feel good another layer of resistance arises it's like a guilt or a suffering of the anger itself so it's like it's layers of resistance but this is what we are now learning to observe there's nothing fancy to do here nothing for you to get rid of or change but simply observe observe the layers of resistance and discover yourself as the awareness which is prior to them subtler than them

19:30 - 20:00 things and don't identify meaning don't take them to be true you know you right now you may be sitting here and a car May uh go by on the street outside of your house and it makes a loud sound and instantly a thought arises and it says oh my God I hate I hate the neighborhood I live in you didn't even do anything to think that thought you didn't choose that thought that thought is not you or yours it just literally arises in your experience just like the sound that comes and
20:00 - 20:30 goes why do we identify with it notice the moment you identify with it you become so bothered you become irritated but like now you are learning Your Capacity to just observe these impulsive ideas that are arising without you're choosing because they're just your conditioning they arise and now you're learning to not believe in them not identify with them not to see them as what you are you're learning to discover yourself as the wordless presence which is prior to the arising of these
20:30 - 21:00 reactions how beautiful so start to observe this when the mind is pleasant and then you become more and more capable to observe this when you are in the midst of a very difficult circumstance strive to practice this practice is key no matter how many videos you watch on non-resistance no matter how many books you read on non-resistance they will not be of great help until you implement them and so also I will say practicing
