00:30 - 01:00 team they are in Croatia at brto split Shipyard they are setting up their office you guys this is exciting they're going to be on the ground there for the next three years and I'm actually headed over there in a few months so you guys this is so much fun I cannot wait to see the office and we'll be able to host tours for our residents as well so we'll have more um on that and we'll definitely bring you some V video and pictures over the next several months so this is very exciting indeed okay we've
01:00 - 01:30 heard about the sales agreements I want to just give you an update I would say the majority have been sent out we have just a few stragglers that we're going to be sending out um the next week or two you probably have received yours you will get a text so make sure when you get that text you check your inbox if it is not there check spam and then if you cannot find it um make sure and give us a call or you can email compliance story lines.com now you're going to be getting two two emails okay you're going to have
01:30 - 02:00 the doc you sign email that has all the sales agreements and then there's a second email with links to upload all of your documentation now again we have streamlined that pyc process that wasn't so userfriendly before to make this a much easier process all you have to do is Click one little button and upload the requested files okay reminder on those agreements the clock ticks when it hits your inbox you have 30 days

02:30 - 03:00 and then we'll also upload some things on our event page okay lastly we're going to do another addition of Meet the team and that's always so much fun to get to know the people that are behind the scenes who are making all this happen so please stick around okay our guest this month he is such a delight I've just had a lot of fun we've been catching up before we started recording this Tony deled has been around for quite some time we've been in collaboration for a few years now now we
03:00 - 03:30 actually did an interview a couple of years ago so you may have remembered that Tony's been involved in Fitness and Wellness for over 40 years he started built and sold many Fitness and Wellness businesses primarily in the US and Australia including founding the Fitness First Australia his current focus is mainly in the evolution of the wellness industry in its many forms he owns gwi Ghana I hope I said that right gwi Ghana lifestyle Retreat which is in Queen land
03:30 - 04:00 and commun spelled with a K we're going to have all these links by the way so you can check it out commun Resort in Bali which are both mid to high-end destination Retreats and you guys the websites are just stunning I cannot wait to go visit one or both of these Retreats he has been like I said in this industry for many many years so you know he's got it down so he recently like he's not busy enough he recently launched wellow works that's wellow works.com it's a community and
04:00 - 04:30 co-working Wellness Center that he believes will be part of the evolution of combining these areas in Suburban locations and don't be surprised if you see little touches around storylines on The mvy Narrative of all the different things that Tony has been involved in he is a gym he is a delight he is so much fun to sit down and chat with and I could not be more excited that he is our guest for this month okay before before we actually
04:30 - 05:00 jump into my interview with Tony deled I have returning Alistar punton I grabbed him to kind of go over a few questions that we're hearing there's some common questions that a lot of people have asked about the agreements the bills security all sorts of things that we wanted to do to address so thank you aliser for jumping in great to be here so we want to talk about there there are a few things like I said that we we're hearing over and over again about the progress about security of funds about the delays and and just sort of of the
05:00 - 05:30 whole process where we are to kind of get the residents up to date why don't we just start with the security of the Milestone payments because there's been some confusion around that so look um for those that have been following along um for a while you've probably heard some of this before but for those that are relatively new this might be new information for you so um the funds are secured I'll answer a couple of questions in one here because they're all sort of Interlink but um the funds are secured in a way that um for us what we need to do we bring in the the resident um Milestone payments now okay
05:30 - 06:00 so that's a huge step forward in the process of bringing the contract into Force okay which keeps our deadlines um so that's sort of Step One tick right so that's happening um and thank you to all the residents who have you know taken the action and upload the documents and going through the kyc and you know all the other steps I know there's many steps in that process but um you know most of those things are out of our hands it's all to do with you know the international regulations and what have you with money transfers and banking so thank you for that and thank you for being patient with us and with the
06:00 - 06:30 system um in that and um while I'm at it a big thank you to all the team in the background who have been working on that literally Around the Clock um you know lot of questions coming in um you know and the team has just been diligent in responding to all of those so thank you um to our team there but um and also thank you to the residents who who've actually gone through and done it so far and to those who who are still in the process um keep at it and keep going and ask any questions we're always here to help so um back to story so the um
06:30 - 07:00 that's all happening that process is happening and that has been what we've needed to be able to then go and get the the funding in place so we can't get the funding until we show the banks and the funds that these um payments are coming in and the the the project is then secure okay so they want to see these real actual tangible um residents there right so that's all happening so because of that um even in the early stages of people putting in into the trust account
07:00 - 07:30 we were able to show that traction to I can't mention names at this stage but um we now have a term sheet from one of the largest um investment banks in the world um we've been dealing with them for probably 12 18 months so you know it's been a long long tale process but they're like most of the people that were spoken to or not most all the people that were spoken to in the funding side they want to see that movement from the residents so um because of that we now received one term sheet working with them through that and we're also looking at some other turn
07:30 - 08:00 sheetss coming through over the course of the next weeks or up to maybe a month or more um so that's really exciting for us because that's at the next the stage in bringing the contract into Force okay and into Force just for those what does that mean there's a ship build contract signed and now the process is to bring it into Force which means um basically we're we're under construction at that point okay so we're aiming for that in um the later half of this year um so there's a lot of work that needs to happen both in the yard and of course um you know in the background as well so
08:00 - 08:30 there's a whole team our team on in the yard right now um we've got the designers in the yard we've got the engineers and the yard have all their Engineers um and plethora of um additional contractors from you know HB Consultants gley Consultants um stability wiring Plumbing pip feing you name it there's a I don't I don't even know the number but it's a lot of people working on this now to help that bring that into Force
08:30 - 09:00 so if we can keep doing this keep keep this momentum up um we'll hit our deadlines what can stop the deadlines and what could um push the deadlines out is um any one of those people that I've spoken about not performing that task and that includes the residents as well so having those residents moving forward and you're watching this um call now moving forward um with your agreements that allows as I said the funding to happen which allows us to get the refund guarantees which allows us to bring the
09:00 - 09:30 contract into Force now back to the original question about the funds security of the funds they're secured in the sense that we talk about refund and demand guarantees um but a lot of people don't understand that so in simplistic terms what does that really mean it's basically an insurance policy on the project okay so it's not a refund guarantee that oh well if there's a problem halfway through construction like the ship ship Builder you know is no longer there or whatever or story lines heaven forbid um that you will get
09:30 - 10:00 your money back that's not what a refund guarantee is for what it is is it guarantees that the project gets completed okay so once we get to that point and that's the point where any of your potential money might transfer over to the ship build it's insured so that means at that point the project will get completed okay now the next question you might ask is well what happens if there's delays and those kind of things so there's two options for delays one is bringing the contract into Force which of course will push out the delivery of
10:00 - 10:30 course right but once we're in so we've got until the end of the year to bring that into force and that's in the contract and quite clearly stated okay but we'll be well before that um if we keep doing the current momentum but if we're in construction and there's delays then there's um liquid a damages that's built into the into the agreements as well both the agreements for the ship Builder and the agreement that You' signed as well okay so there's protection in there as well and of course with the great teams on board and on in the in the yard um will be
10:30 - 11:00 managing that and mitigating any of those potential losses of time so I think that that covers everything Katie yeah yeah thank you I think that was short and sweet and to the point of what these questions have been um we really do appreciate it I know how busy you are so we'll hop back over now to my interview with Tony deled thank you thanks Alistair Tony it is so great to see you again thank you so much for coming back I think we talked a couple years ago I want to say it has been a couple of years it's G
11:00 - 11:30 yeah absolutely and I really appreciate your time because you are very very busy you're not home you normally are in um Australia but you want to share what you're doing right now and you might be a little jet Le so I won't keep you to yeah I'm currently in Atlanta Georgia where I actually lived for 20 years I many in the 80s and 90s I lived in in here and launched my first uh Fitness business called Australian Body Works okay subsequent to that launched many many other Fitness and Wellness
11:30 - 12:00 businesses and just last night we launched A New Wellness and co-working business called wellow works and wellow is a wellness break so on the ship we will be having many wellow that area particularly in the guest lounges where we're going to have some of our Wellness pods and we'll be taking telling people this is where you'll be able to take your Wellness breaks as well as in the Health and Wellness Center so I think one of the wonderful things about storylines is
12:00 - 12:30 that uh the the embracing the the lifestyle element which for all of us is the most important not just in Lifestyle Center but throughout different areas of the ship so uh and if there is some co-working which there may be it'll be the brand we've just launched here is combining wellness and co-working and it's the first in the world and it's uh if any of your residents there want to look it up is wellow works.com in the US w v l and you can see and it and it does
12:30 - 13:00 feature a lot of the wellness pods that we will have on the ship so uh get a bit of a flavor of what's to come I love it I love it so much I'm so excited matter of fact I've been so excited to talk with you today because this is one of my favorite subjects and we'll go ahead for for you residents we'll go ahead and give you all of the links here today so you can follow Tony's Journey you are not bored you have your hands in a lot of pots and you do it very well so we'll make sure that the residents get that and I just kind of before we jump into a
13:00 - 13:30 few questions here I'm just really curious I know that you have been around storylines for many many years how did you come about like how did you hear about us or did you meet Alistair or how did you actually find us look interestingly enough I um a couple of my fitness friends in the US who who who do intend to become residents of storylines uh two in particular are both selling their businesses um and you know I run with a bunch of guys my age and we're all in our early 70s and how way to uh
13:30 - 14:00 slow down a little still lead a healthy life which we've done and but also you know wake up every few days in with with your home being in a different port and these friends of mine had been on I was previously a resident of the world um and lived on there with my wife for eight years on and off and so understand the lifestyle better than most people because we've experienced it and of course story lines is is let's say is the world I don't want to say on
14:00 - 14:30 steroids but it's it's a larger and I think more comprehensive and and more you know a lot of a lot of additional amenities and features on storylines that I think will enhance and and make the experience even that much better than it was on the world and on the world it was a it was a very very good experience so yeah back to your question I found out through my friends um and having not got off the world 10 years ago um because we got into too many other businesses and and have not
14:30 - 15:00 regretted it but have just U just fond memories of that style of life and again essentially it's pretty much exactly what story lines is but story lines is bigger and better absolutely and and what a better person to do what you're doing for us because you have all that experience and you were on the world and so you really have it all I mean it's just wonderful to partner with you and I know everybody's super excited so well that just answered my other question about kind of what attra you to our concept and to the project and so pretty
15:00 - 15:30 much answered answered that so I've just got a few kind of general questions and I know the res are very excited to hear more about what you're going to bring to storylines and to their lives um one of the things I'm just going to kind of read through here because I can't remember anything without my cheat sheet here so you know there's a recurring theme right in longevity and and the research it's it's such a vital role of consistent moderate physical activity like in the blue zones that's a big buzzz word right now and the blue what's
15:30 - 16:00 so cool is that it's kind of a natural organic way of living that we've kind of lost because we're so sary and all of that but what targeted exercises you know can you share that we're going to be doing that kind of Follow That Blue Zone lifestyle look essentially movement let's just call it movement and mindfulness and blue zones of which there are five um actually about to be six because I don't know if you watch the um net series about living to be a hundred and they and they popped
16:00 - 16:30 up with Singapore at the end as a as the next Blue Zone and I've I'm familiar with um you know the the whole concept and Dan hudner who I have had the pleasure of meeting a few times he he was the author of the blue zones but really to answer your question look any type of movement you just got to move it's whether you walk run cycle swim yoga Pilates you know
16:30 - 17:00 it's just about movement now yes blue zones was natural movement it was farming and tending to sheep and cattle and walking up and down Hills and picking up and digging in the dirt and bending down and bending up and a lot of the movement that was natural movement back then is is adapted or or we sort of imitate some of that with various yoga poses or various other types of activities so back then people did ride
17:00 - 17:30 horses or cycle or you know do things so really because we don't have to do that anymore but you still have to move so substitute let's call it modern day movements so really we will have all different types of movement particularly because a lot of it will be virtual you know the whole concept of digital whether it be in the Health and Wellness Center whether be having all of these
17:30 - 18:00 our move and mind Concepts um available in your rooms which which talking with Alistair about making sure the ship is equipped to be able so we'll be able to stream or you'll be able to choose inan movement which has say 10 collections everything from breathing and mindful meditation and shei through to dance and boxing and strength and you know all those those different things which will be available
18:00 - 18:30 in the Health and Wellness Center as well as in your rooms and we'll also have an app called Wellness on demand which I know we're going to send it to all the residents again after you know at some point in the next few days so even when they get off the ship they'll be able to carry their Wellness On Demand with them and when they're at home or having a you know glass of wine and meditating while you have wine which I think think you can do that can you I think think you can of course you
18:30 - 19:00 can or else you know when you're on the bus or on the train or on the plane you know be able to carry Wellness On Demand with you so you know to me the lifestyle thing is is all of your life not just part of your life I I do want to thank you and we were going to um definitely talk about that you're very generous to be giving our residents ahead of time so even before we sail they're able to use this Wellness on demand when you came in before and we have new residents of course that you know may not know about this that they haven't read it through
19:00 - 19:30 our portal and that sort of thing but you you gave access to our residents and we're going to do it again so there's a nice little bonus for watching today's update so thank you very much Tony my pleasure my pleasure yeah well and speaking of I did read your bio and I know you've got over 40 years in the business but I'm curious how did you actually get into health and wellness um look when I was I I played Sports at school I was you know I represented my school in running swimming played rugby played squash and
19:30 - 20:00 then in the very early 80s when aerobics started becoming popular and in Australia it was what I call gymnastic aerobics and then when I moved to the US um in came to Atlanta in 1981 for was supposedly uh two weeks and ended up staying for 20 years um it's a long story which I won't bore you with but um and decided to open a fitness center um that had what I call the Australian
20:00 - 20:30 style of aerobics and I taught aerobics and would you believe I still teach body pump oh wow and you know when I was on the world I used to teach it all the time but I might even if uh if Alistar allows me or if you if you you you might have to scream me first to make sure that I don't make a fool of myself but you know so um and I still practice what I preach I mean I I have a personal trainer a couple of times a week and I I do some yoga and and I still like spin you know all all the kind of things that
20:30 - 21:00 we'll have and that's a bit more intense but then we have the yin exercise which is yoga the Pilates and we do things again in small bites and a lot of people don't like the idea of doing an hour or 45 minutes and there's been a lot of research that says if you take exercise and small bites you know do 10 minutes of yoga and 10 minutes of strength like this morning I'm the hotel I'm staying in in Atlanta I went in and I Cy on the bike for 10 minutes and then I did
21:00 - 21:30 strength for 10 minutes M and then and then you walk around and you accumulate four or 5,000 steps or six or 7,000 so when you as long as you do movement you can slice it and dice it you can do different types there's no there's no magic source to it you know you just got to keep moving you don't want to be sitting down on your bum all day long watching TV or drinking wine I mean we do we a lot of that on the ship ship will be set up to where it the
21:30 - 22:00 the the the environments will facilitate movement and mindfulness which is you know we all want to live longer and live better you know it's not about getting pushed around in the wheelchair for the last 10 years you you know these people who live in the blue zones they are still climbing mountains and still tending their Gardens after they've turned 100 and incredible and that's and I love that the the story lines is embracing the whole longevity anti-aging and and I feel like uh with
22:00 - 22:30 what uh with what I've developed over the years that we can certainly provide the tools where the residents will be able to more easily access you know the what they need to to maintain all the daily movement that'll help them live longer and that's what it's all about oh yeah 100% And I think that's why I love this topic so much is because I've always been pretty active and I've done a variety of things from dance or Wellness but as I've changed and grown a little older my my needs have changed my
22:30 - 23:00 body wants a little something different maybe it's a little bit more yoga and less Zumba you know who knows and that's what's so wonderful that we can tailor for every resident exactly what they need and they can do it themselves like you said we'll have it in their rooms on demand or they can come to the Health and Wellness Center I mean there's so many options and then of course get off the ship and get your 10,000 steps in come back in and finish your day with some meditation I mean there it's Limitless what you can do on the ship 100% yeah I love that I love that well
23:00 - 23:30 it looks like we've kind of gone through some of this on the Wellness on demand um you know and I think just and and most of our residents know all the different things and you've mentioned you know a lot of them like Chi and and you know obviously cardio and strength and pilates we're going to be doing you know stretching exercises and courses and all sorts of things so and I don't know if you've actually mentioned your um main website but we'll list it here it's Wellness solutions.com . Au and so we'll make sure that our
23:30 - 24:00 residents have all of that because really what you offer is just so amazing and exciting I'd love to go to your website so one of the things I mean you might just want to kind of add lib here about if there's anything else you wanted um wanted to add um maybe about how the ship's Wellness Center aligns kind of with the goals and values um that's I'm sure why we're such a fit right because you know I know that Alistair you know when he started the whole concept it really was you know I
24:00 - 24:30 mean our motto is even live a healthier happier longer life you know and you two have known each other for a long time and it's just so great to see that Synergy you know between you but is there anything else that you want to add that maybe I wouldn't be asking today um look Katie no I I guess it's just reiterating look we we all want to be healthy there's nobody out there that says look I'm just going to just smoke and drink can watch TV and die young
24:30 - 25:00 well maybe there's a few but not many we all aspire to live longer better and the operative word is living longer better you know and I think having the tools to be able to do that is critical because it's all about convenience having it handy you know if you have to get in a car and drive 15 minutes to go to your exercise you're less inclined to do it than if you walk you know 3 minutes down the Road well the good thing about the ship is you're can just walk three
25:00 - 25:30 minutes to the wellness center it's not like have to you know get the car and drive somewhere for 15 minutes and that that's your excuse for not doing it because you don't have time you know time is the biggest excuse um of people not doing the things they don't want to do and so we tried to make it and again I touched on before making it in bike siiz pieces you know people if you feed them you know because at the end of the day most people don't like to exercise and I include myself as well I am you know I hate to say it but
25:30 - 26:00 I as much as I practice what I preach because I know I have to I don't particularly like it you know here we are on a Friday afternoon you know i' much rather you know if I had the urge to exercise I'd drink a glass of wine and let the urge pass so but I know I need to and I did exercise this morning and I did you know the hotel I'm staying in I didn't have a lot of time but I did 10 minutes of cardio I was on one of their recumbent bikes which we will have and then I did 10 minutes of strength
26:00 - 26:30 and to me and then walk in between and get by hopefully I'll get by four to 5,000 steps and some days I do 10,000 steps because I live on a beautiful beach in in Sydney called Bondi and and got the dog and you know and walk my dog and and I tell you that's one of the benefits of having a dog yes you more because you you you know you you exercise with the dog but you're actually exercising for yourself and so there's a great reason to have pets because they make exercise more they do
26:30 - 27:00 yes so really you know that's why I'm excited about living on MV narrative listen I'm looking at the hopefully being around for I don't know if I'll make it to the uh to the Blue Zone to the hundred I me I might but if I can get into the 90s but the the operative thing is I want to be moving in my 90s I don't want to be on a cane and an oil chair I want to be moving and yes you got to just make it convenient and easy and to have the tools to be able to move
27:00 - 27:30 and story lines will have that yeah absolutely absolutely and I and I love that you really hit on these little chunks these little bite-size you know ways to get your cardio or your strength or it doesn't take much and I think that that's what a lot of people have always been told I have to get on that treadmill for an hour absolutely not you know especially with I'm what I'm doing if I have a break and I oh I have 20 minutes I might just go run around my neighborhood on the path and then come back and get back to work you know so
27:30 - 28:00 such a great I think it's it's education it's education that people have been taught some things that probably weren't so true and now we have much more you know information and so that's has definitely changed and and the recognition that firstly any exercise is better than no exercise that's right and the recognition now is that yes bite-sized pieces interspersed is every bit as effective as an hour of you know whatever so um so I think and and it
28:00 - 28:30 makes it far more palatable for the majority of the population there's about 10 to 15% that are driven and are are motivated and when they get up in the day in the morning it's like and now I got to do my hour of exercise and I got to work things around that the rest of us the other 85% say I've got to do all these other things and if I can fit in the exercise I will if it's an hour it rarely happens but if it's 10 minutes here or 10 minutes there it happens yeah so you know and then it's convenient
28:30 - 29:00 again you don't have to drive on on the ship you walk five minutes or 10 minutes and you're in the wellness and the Health and Wellness Center or where you have other places and even in the the guest uh the resident lounges will'll have the wellness pods yep then I really exercise per se but it's the mindfulness part which we don't talk about a lot the meditation that you'll be able to do and the and the breathing you know all of these things proper breathing and proper meditation are are very important and and and becoming much more recognized
29:00 - 29:30 and there'll be ample opportunities to do that on the ship as well so I think it's going to be a very all-encompassing comprehensive wonderful lifestyle experience oh absolutely and again I can't thank you enough for for coming today I know how busy you are probably just a slightly jet leg but you don't look it at all and I know the residents are equally as excited to have you lead this this wonderful project in in the different areas on the ship so I just want to thank you so much it's good to
29:30 - 30:00 see you again it's fun to catch up good to see you thank you absolutely so hang on everybody we have another edition of Meet the team so you're going to meet one of our other special teammates here and Tony again thanks so much and we'll see you on okay thanks Katie bye bye and we're back for another segment of your favorite meet the team we have had so many wonderful teammates and this day is no exception I am so excited to
30:00 - 30:30 introduce you to Moren and Moren thank you so much for being here first of all yeah no problem hello everyone so Moren is our HR manager and we obviously work very closely together so it's really lovely when you have a teammate that you get along with so well and even though I think I know her of course there are always things I always find out during these segments so I'm really excited we're just going to jump right in and but before I do that I want you just to introduce yourself tell people where you live how long you've been with
30:30 - 31:00 storylines and we'll start with that okay so hello everyone my name is maren I'm actually based in the Philippines and I'm working for story lines for um I can't remember the exactly but almost three years now so I started as you know as a corporate recruiter um and then I got promoted as an HR specialist and now handling uh the HR department as the interim HR manager we can't be more grateful you are so good at what you do and every she's so easy to work with and very
31:00 - 31:30 accommodating for everyone so this is going to be a lot of fun all right so now that we did the introductions we can get to the fun stuff so what is the one thing at work that kind of leaves you excited or that you really kind of get energized when you when you work on I always do things that you know I have to do every day but then there's always a surprise the happiness that I felt whenever I achieve something it makes me feel good so that's what I love about my work yeah well you got to be flexible here right and it is fun I mean I like a challenge
31:30 - 32:00 and I always like something day that kind of gets the day moving and it actually goes so quickly when you have these new things that come up right so what attracted you to storylines how did you hear about us and then what was it that you liked the moment that I started working with story lines I said to myself and this is you know not being cheesy or what I said to myself like I really want to grow in here I really want to stay in here and it's not a lot of people that you will feel that in in the company that you're working for right but um the once I started with
32:00 - 32:30 story lines I really felt that I really need and I really want to grow and stay here and just see the company grow with me in it yeah well I think I mean thank you for saying that and it's it's you know we we already saw the potential like we already knew that you were so intelligent and you were natural for the role and you know sometimes it's and we can go on and on about this but getting out of your comfort zone is really important in life you know and and I know I loved working with you and I just knew we would be a good team so super happy that you kind of breath and then
32:30 - 33:00 you move into that because you're really good at what you do oh thank you Katie yeah okay I have a I have the best Mentor OH tell me who she is I wantan I need one I'm just kidding so this is kind of fun if your work team were a famous rock band okay who would we be and why and what type of music doesn't have to be Rock oh hm if if story lines is a band
33:00 - 33:30 yeah like if if we our team you know kind of formed a band right what kind of music would we be playing and or if there's a band already that you think that we would be sort of like I think we're gonna go a little bit you know reg something like summery Vibe I love that I I I can imagine as just you know at a sheep and just you know vibing with those Summers songs and reg songs and just dancing by the pool with some reg
33:30 - 34:00 yeah all our team we all know the songs okay I'm going to definitely make notes we're definitely going to do that okay so we know where you reside we want to know kind of what you do for fun after work and on weekends and that sort of thing so I always stay at home and I need to find a lot of hobbies so I you can see in my background I have a lot of Legos in here yes and I have a lot of Legos downstairs as well at the same time I'm always on my computer and I you know work like balance after work or before work I always play games with my
34:00 - 34:30 uh friends um and also I I don't have a talent for art but I do this paint by numbers thing where it has a guide yeah just relaxing stuff reading any hubs that I could find actually that's really cool no I I I was looking back there I knew that you did Legos those are some really intricate it's an owl yeah it was really hard like it will take you seven hours or maybe two two days depends on the size gosh you have patience girl
34:30 - 35:00 oh that's interesting okay all right so here's kind of an interesting question what do you think is your most memorable accomplishment um with s or just in general well my accomplishment is actually in s lines um you know s lines Chang my life and I'm not saying this because I'm being interviewed by SS directly but I really I really grew I feel like I really grew here um in the company because imagine I just started
35:00 - 35:30 as a as a recruiter so I grew as a recruiter I grew as a person um my achievements personally I actually was able to save um enough money to buy a car at like um what age 25 or something like that and then the next year I have a go to buy a house and now I have a house a that makes me feel so good and I'm so like proud of you too cuz seen all of these things happen in your life and you've worked so hard to get them and
35:30 - 36:00 congratulations on the car and the house and just being here and and you know you really do have the rest of your life you know I mean obviously stages in life and I just see you as like wow you've accomplished so much already you know it's going to be so fun to just see where you go from here and that is the cool thing about storylines because we are an evolving company and there's so much flexibility right um how the most daring or adventurous activity you've ever tried Maybe while traveling or just at any
36:00 - 36:30 time okay so I don't know how to [Music] swim which is funny because you know with our line of work I don't know how to swim but then H H I wrote um what do they call this the motor or something at the sea something J yeah a jet ski yeah yeah so I need that and I drive it by myself and I don't even know how to swim so you have life jacket on right I really had fun and at the same time
36:30 - 37:00 while I'm driving that I was praying that I won't fall I don't know but that's cool like you did again getting out of your comfort zone right and doing that you know it probably made you feel really inspired afterwards yeah I love it I will do it again if I have a chance that's so cool okay um 30 seconds of Fame are you a singer actor musician athlete or something else well I can s but I won't say I'm good at
37:00 - 37:30 it should we do karaoke together that would be fun no your ears will hurt but yeah um I guess it is a well-known fact that Filipinos can sing really well if you had a karaoke song what would be your go-to song Oh that was hard is that too hard all right let me think about mine I like a lot of Shia Twain okay just you know makes me feel like a woman kind of thing like that's really fun I do a lot of Pat benitar so
37:30 - 38:00 and that's probably way way past yeah or in the past so I I don't know we could we can shove that question and maybe come back to it later think about your go-to song okay okay all right now if you could time travel speaking of time um what era or what decade would you want to go to oh I've always thought about is I've always wanted to go back or experience the80s because yes I am born in the 90s so you know that was the
38:00 - 38:30 the I guess the era where electric sorry um what do they call this Electronics phones or something like that internet is getting introduced so I want to experience a life without it yeah you know just going out with your friends maybe disco and you know the clothes in the 80s I really want to experience that well I have to send you pictures because I I definitely live through the so I'll send you some yeah there was some groovy clothes going on back then for sure um that's so funny I think about the 80s
38:30 - 39:00 I'm like well that was just yesterday but no I guess it wasn't uh this is a good one if you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead who would it be oh um probably my mom well um it's not really a secret that my mom died um seven years ago because I feel like she will be so proud to you know see me in here she always say that you will be able to buy a house before your 30 you will be able to obsi this before your 30 and right now I'm 29 um that's what I always say like hey Mom
39:00 - 39:30 I'm here I got it you're right so if I will have a chance I will just you know tell her everything that I've been through the last nine years and I will tell her that I did well yeah that I'm okay I mean my gosh Moren you know I always feel like she she knows she's proud she you know and I didn't know that she put that in your ear and that probably helped guide you right to to accomplish that before you were 30 and look you did so I'm super proud I know your mom would be too and I'd love to
39:30 - 40:00 sit in on that dinner with you and bring my own mom who's been gone many years we could have a little for on there she would love you for sure a well I know I love her too wow okay if you had a superpower what would it be oh so if I will have a superpower it's just like I want like a snap to learn to learn something for example oh I want this um this hubby or I want this talent and I would just snap my finger and I have the yeah right imagine how powerful you
40:00 - 40:30 would be or intelligent you would be like if you want to be a genius you can be a genius which is a s your I think I'd probably snap my fingers and maybe go back 30 years just to have the energy go back in time and yeah a little bit but yeah I think yours is better though because yeah I'm not I guess okay um what's the best piece of advice you've ever received and who gave it to you you no no really you um last year when I turned 29 I got really
40:30 - 41:00 stressed you know about my age like people around me will be like oh you need to have a family you need to have a kid now because you're you're nearing turties and all that you need to have this you need to have that and I was really getting pressured by it so I feel like um I feel like the days are leaving me and I was looking at my my previous classmate my batchmates and I'm like oh they they now have a family they achieved this they achieved that but then you gave me an advice you told me
41:00 - 41:30 Life Starts at 30 yeah you told me that and you told me that um you know I I have a lot of things that I should look forward on that I will really have fun in my 30s and I really appreciated that because you know I was having a hard time accepting that I'm getting old but but then when you told me that and I'm seeing the lifestyle that you have right now I'm like oh I want to be this I want to experience this so I'm actually excited now to be well I think it's all
41:30 - 42:00 perspective right I mean obviously 30 is a long time in my in my history and and I felt the same I did I mean I think that there are times when we just go through different chapters and it's okay you know for someone older to say oh you're so young that doesn't matter what I say it's how you feel in the moment you know but I can tell you from my own experience that every decade has brought me some joy and something new and something fantastic and and as a woman I think every decade you actually get stronger and stronger yes you know I've
42:00 - 42:30 even seen you like you've just blossoms since I've met you and you were already cool when I met you you know so I that that's very touching by the way that makes me feel really good actually all of the advice that you're giving me every day whenever I feel down you're always there you know as my boss and as my friend but that is specific advice it really I guess changed my life um in a way on how I see it yeah because I realized like okay I'm still young yes I can still and can still do a lot of things like maybe maybe Katie is right
42:30 - 43:00 that life starts at tury well just tell my kids that maybe Katie's right on occasion no well I think it's interest we all have to have mentors and I have my own and uh it's nice it's nice to be able to if I can help one little bit for the people I work with and be a little bit of a mentor that makes me feel really good because that's what we're here for is to help each other you know so yes very cool okay here's some more fun things and we into a lightning round here but before that um what's your
43:00 - 43:30 favorite holiday my favorite holiday New Year oh to be honest yeah ref because yeah like a start of something you know you like leave all behind um for example 2023 and then let's just welcome 2024 and just start something maybe find a new hubby and and all that stuff but yeah I like New Year more than Christmas yeah here we go here's a ltin don't even think about this okay um movies or music music
43:30 - 44:00 okay dogs or cats cats okay Beach mountains oh uh Beach adventure activities a relaxing day at the spa relaxing Z always yeah oh yeah um sweet or salty sweet technology or nature nature sing or dance sing We Are we got that um be invisible or able to
44:00 - 44:30 fly oh um able to fly I guess okay sunrise sunset sunset me too uh traveling alone or do you like to travel with friends or family traveling with friends or family of course yeah okay uh swimming pool or hot tub I think I already know this uh pool you're like sorry hot tub hot tub all right so here's my last question what do you want to be remembered for I
44:30 - 45:00 want to be remembered for I guess for example in your life Katie um I want you to remember me as someone that made you smile or some someone that you know always there and listening to you and uh saying the right words whenever you need to hear it um I want to be that friend well I think you definitely are that person you're so caring and that's why you're so good at what you do because you have to be as a HR person and especially as manager you know you have to care for the people because it's not just clocking in and
45:00 - 45:30 clocking out right or logging hours it's also about what's going on in their lives and how can we help and support and you know so I think that that is a perfect way to end because you truly are that person and that's why you're so valued well thank you so much Moren and that concludes our May resident update have a great rest of the month not much left and we'll see you next month bye-bye [Music]
