Chapters
00:00 - 00:30: Introduction to the Master Plan The chapter 'Introduction to the Master Plan' discusses a structured approach for improving English fluency over 30 days. It highlights five specific tasks designed to enhance speaking skills, forming a 'master plan' tailored by the speaker. The aim is to help individuals achieve significant progress in their English language proficiency.
00:30 - 01:00: Overview of the 30-Day Plan The chapter outlines a master plan to significantly transform one's English speaking fluency within a 30-day timeframe. Regardless of the current levelβbe it A1, B1, or B2βthe plan is designed to ensure noticeable improvement, promising level advancements such as from A1 to A2 or from B1 to B2.
02:00 - 02:30: Importance of English Input This chapter emphasizes the importance of improving English fluency by moving up one proficiency level, from B2 to C1. It highlights the significant enhancement in English speaking skills that such a jump entails. The instructor, Shivangi Gupta, who is a CELTA certified tutor from the University of Cambridge, UK, encourages students to be prepared for this substantial learning experience.
04:00 - 05:00: Methods of English Input In this chapter titled 'Methods of English Input,' the emphasis is on becoming fluent in the English language. It begins with a reminder to subscribe to the channel for more lessons, and to like and share the content. The chapter focuses on the concept of fluency, described as the manner and eloquence with which one speaks, including the choice of words. The aim is to guide learners on achieving eloquence and proficiency in English.
05:00 - 10:30: Listening as English Input The chapter emphasizes the importance of a dedicated master plan to become fluent in English. It introduces a 30-day challenge that listeners must follow daily to achieve fluency. The speaker promises that the day's lessons will establish a framework for achieving fluency and begins with task number one in the process of learning.
11:30 - 15:00: Reading as English Input The chapter titled 'Reading as English Input' emphasizes the importance of English input for fluency. It suggests that in order to become fluent in English, one must consume a substantial amount of English content over the next 30 days. The approach should focus on treating English as a language rather than a subject, encouraging continuous input in the English language.
17:00 - 20:30: The Role of Vocabulary The chapter titled 'The Role of Vocabulary' emphasizes the importance of input in learning a language. Using a cooking metaphor, it compares preparing a dish with learning English. Just as cooking requires ingredients as input, learning English requires vocabulary input. Without putting in the right input, one cannot expect to achieve fluency in the language. Thus, vocabulary acts as a fundamental component and starting point in the process of becoming fluent in English.
22:00 - 25:00: Mastering Vocabulary The chapter 'Mastering Vocabulary' emphasizes the importance of input in language learning. It explains that in order to speak fluently, one's subconscious mind must be trained through consistent input. This input conditions the mind, helping it become familiar with language patterns. The chapter highlights that without input, the mind cannot process or recognize the language effectively, making input essential for mastering vocabulary.
26:00 - 30:00: English Output and Speaking Practice The chapter titled 'English Output and Speaking Practice' emphasizes the importance of consuming information in English through two primary methods, focusing particularly on listening. It highlights that language is fundamentally composed of sounds and stresses the significance of listening as the most crucial form of English input. As speech consists of producing specific sounds, mastering the right combination of these sounds is essential for effective communication.
31:00 - 39:00: Importance of Immersion The chapter 'Importance of Immersion' delves into the concept of fluency in language learning and communication. It emphasizes the critical role of immersion in understanding and producing language correctly. The focus is on the precise combination of sound, pitch, intonation, and stress, which collectively contribute to fluency and the ability to form perfect sentence structures. Despite these being technical aspects, the chapter reassures that one need not worry about them when immersed in the language, as the mind naturally processes these elements when listening actively.
40:00 - 45:00: Consistency in Practice This chapter discusses the importance of listening to improve language skills, emphasizing that consistent listening helps in developing a good model of sounds required for correct pronunciation in English. The focus is on feeding the mind with accurate intonation and pronunciation to enable proper speaking.
Transform Your English in 30 Days | Master Plan To Become Fluent Transcription

A master plan designed by me just for you. Hello everybody. How are you all? Hope you're doing great. 00:30 - 01:00 lesson, I'm going to tell you the complete master plan to transform your English in just 30 days. Transform your English speaking fluency in 30 days. The complete master plan how to do it at whatever level you are right now. you are going to see significant improvement. If you are at A1 level, you'll go to A2. If you are at B1, you'll go to B2. And if you are at B2,
01:00 - 01:30 then you'll go to C1 level, you will see significant improvement. That means one level of improvement, which is a lot. If you become one level up in your English fluency, that is considered a major jump in your English speaking fluency. So are you all ready for this? I'm Shivangi Gupta, your selda certified English language tutor certified by the University of Cambridge, the UK. Before
01:30 - 02:00 beginning, please subscribe the channel so that you can get all the lessons that I post for you on this channel. Please like the video and share it with your friends too. Now coming back to today's lesson that is the complete master plan to become fluent in English language. Now fluency is the way you speak, the manner in which you speak, the words that you use, how much eloquent you sound. Now if you want to sound
02:00 - 02:30 eloquent, you have to take up a dedicated master plan so that you can become fluent in English. What I'm going to tell you today, you have to follow it for the next 30 days. Each day, every day you have to do this so that you can become absolutely fluent in English language. Whatever I have for you today is going to set that framework of fluency. So let's begin with the task number one. So the task number one, the first
02:30 - 03:00 thing that you have to do is English input. English input for the next 30 days. Now English input means you have to consume a lot of English. You have to put input in English language. English is not a subject. You can't treat it as a subject. You have to treat it as a language. And if you want to be fluent in a language, you are required to take as much input as possible. Now if you
03:00 - 03:30 want to prepare something, for example, you want to prepare your favorite dish, what you have to do? You have to put in some ingredients. That's the input. If you don't put those ingredients, if you don't let it sit, boil, fry, whatever you're doing, whatever is the process, if you don't do it, you won't get that output. Similarly, the first step in this process is to have that input. Without that input, you can't expect to get fluent in English language. Without that
03:30 - 04:00 input, you cannot expect yourself to speak so fluently because input is required. This input is going to train your subconscious mind. You are conditioning your mind for the language. You are making your mind familiar with the language because you can't speak until and unless your mind does not process the language. That means your mind needs to have some kind of input to recognize the language patterns that are being formed. So language input is
04:00 - 04:30 consuming information in that particular language and you do it by two methods. There are two methods involved in English input. Number one is listening. The most important English input is listening. Because language is made up of sounds. Right now I'm speaking I'm speaking in English language. It's made up of sounds. I'm producing certain sounds. The combination, the right combination of these sounds create
04:30 - 05:00 fluency. The right combination creates the fluency and also it creates the perfect sentence structures. The words that I'm speaking, you're able to understand everything. Why? Because these are the combinations of the right sound at the right place with the right pitch, right intonation, right stress. A lot of technical terms, right? But these technical terms are something that you do not need to bother about if you are listening. Your mind is
05:00 - 05:30 automatically processing all these technical terms because you're continuously feeding your mind with the right amount of intonation pronunciation that is required for you to speak the correct English. Now this kind of information that you're feeding your mind with the sounds the real language is listening because you have to speak. What would you speak if you do not have the good model of the sound? So listening provides you with the good model of sounds. You know how to
05:30 - 06:00 pronounce a word. You know what to say when the situation arises. Why? Because you have already listened to it in the past through listening. You've conditioned your brain to respond in the language. It's very necessary for you to listen in the English language. Now you have various options available outside to listen in English. If you want to listen, you can check out YouTube channels that are there in English language which creates content in
06:00 - 06:30 English language. Now if you're watching my channel, you get plenty of English. You are hearing plenty and plenty of English and that's good for you. You can also do some kind of thing where you are watching something for your own entertainment. For example, a channel related to fashion, a channel related to lifestyle, a channel related to nature, a channel related to cooking, a channel related to traveling. If you're side by side watching all these kinds of channels, subscribe to channels that are in the English language. You have to subscribe all those channels that are
06:30 - 07:00 there in the English language, right? So do this. Listen to all these channels. You can listen to the podcasts. You can go on listen to your favorite podcasts. the interviews that are there on the podcast which are very helpful because you get to hear some authentic English and apart from these you can listen to the English songs that's my favorite because song serves as some kind of stress buster you feel relaxed you feel good
07:00 - 07:30 you feel calm with music you can learn English really well because music creates a mood music uplifts your mood it makes sense to your inner self, your subconscious mind. It's like it speaks to the soul, doesn't it? So, if you are learning English with music, it's the best way to do it. Listen to English songs when you're traveling during your commute time and see the magic happening. Now, this was listening. Listening as an
07:30 - 08:00 input, which is very important. The most important factor to learn English is listening. Do not ever forget it. There is another form of input that is reading. Now when I come to reading, you have to read something for 10 minutes every day. Now you are supposed to read for 10 minutes for the next 30 days. 10 minutes every day for the next 30 days. You're supposed to listen to something
08:00 - 08:30 both for 10 minutes. Now this is the English input that you require for the next 30 days. Something that you must do. I'm not saying that you have to do it at the fixed time. Listening and reading both can be flexible. You have to give 10 minutes. If you think that you can't give 20 minutes at a single time because you're too busy with your work, with the office, with the college, then what you can do is you can divide the time. 10 minutes in the morning for listening, 10 minutes in the evening for reading. Divide it up. Okay? Divide it
08:30 - 09:00 all up and you will feel like doing it is so easy. It's like a piece of cake. You're not struggling to get time to find time anymore. You're easily able to do all the tasks. So you have to read for 10 minutes, next 10 minutes. Now why reading is important? Reading allows you to create a framework for complex sentence structures in your mind. all those sentence structures you might not pick
09:00 - 09:30 on the sentence structure while listening to in English. So once you listen to something in English you're paying attention to the sounds to these sounds it's creating for you the right amount of stress the intonation the pronunciation your focus is on the sound. Now when you're reading, you can focus on the word, the vocabulary, how they're used, how the sentences are being formed. And if you've listened to
09:30 - 10:00 something and you come across it while reading, it reinforces the usage of the particular vocabulary, the phrase, the sentence, the word. So it's double beneficial. If you're first listening to something and you come across it while reading, your brain reinforces the way it is pronounced, you would not know it. You would not realize, but when you read, when you read it, you are able to hear some kind of sound in your head as
10:00 - 10:30 if you're really speaking it. This is called sub vocalization. You sub vocalize the words again and again. And this sub vocalization is something which is reinforcing the pronunciation and the sound too. That means when you're reading your fluency is getting enhanced. If you have had the good input of English language before you read you can improve your fluency. While reading, you are also promoting your speaking
10:30 - 11:00 fluency through sub vocalization. And this is something that a lot of learners do not even know about. They do not even realize that how much reading can enhance your speaking fluency. So when you read for example you take up a book you read a line you would be able to hear the sound of those words in your head. So after the video try it and I'm sure you'll be amazed to find this particular effect. Okay. Now
11:00 - 11:30 moving forward when you do this your fluency gets enhanced. So what you need to read a lot of people struggle to read and they say that their attention span while reading is quite less. For that you have to read something that you love. You have to fall in love with reading. That's the thing that I would say because I love reading. I am a reader. I totally love reading. You all know that I've done English honors in literature and I hold an MA in English
11:30 - 12:00 literature too. That means I'm an aid reader. I just totally love literature. I love reading. So if you give me a classic, any classic, if I pick up any classic from behind me, right? I would be able to read it and I would be lost in that particular novel. I'd be just reading it without any sense of the time and this. I would be consumed by reading the story everything. So that is what you have to create that when you read you enjoy it. You're enjoying the
12:00 - 12:30 content. So if you like science fiction read that if you like children's classics they are a great option to start with something that's easy for you to read because if you come across easy vocabulary you'll feel encouraged to read more because you'll feel like that reading is not a very difficult task. I'm able to understand a lot of things. So for you for example I have one example over here. So these are like illustrated classics.
12:30 - 13:00 Okay. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. One of my favorites and this classic is something that you must read. If you love adventure definitely this is for you. So you can read something that's for children. It's a classic. You can also read young adult novels uh detective novels like Nancy Drew. So there are a lot of options out there for you to read and if you want to read non-fiction go ahead read it and start with the atomic habits right so here it
13:00 - 13:30 is atomic habits well this is my favorite non-fiction atomic habits I can read it anytime why I like it so much because you can open just any page and you can start reading you do not have any time you can just open any chapter in between and start reading. So you have to read for 10 minutes. Now when I say for 10 minutes, I want you to read at least at least three pages. And I
13:30 - 14:00 think 10 minutes are enough to read three pages. If you want to continue reading beyond 10 minutes, it's up to you. Bravo. Do it. If you want to read for longer period of time, that's okay. That's up to you. 10 minutes, that's the minimum time period that you need to dedicate to reading. And if you want to give more time, you're free to give. You're free to give up to 30 minutes to reading and you can read up to 10 pages. And when you do it, do not forget to
14:00 - 14:30 check out the vocabulary. That's very important. Now, task number two is after English input. Task number two is the basic vocabulary. You have to upgrade your vocabulary. Upgrade your vocabulary. That's very important. So for the next 30 days, you have to upgrade your vocab. And in these 30 days, you should at least learn 100 words. Now, it's up to you how you're going to divide it. I do
14:30 - 15:00 not want you to learn 10 words every day. That's going to be too much for you. 10 words every day. The maximum limit is five words a day. If you are learning five words a day, that means in the 20 days you can cover all your words. Now it's up to you whether you're learning three words in a day or five words in a day. That's up to you. You are getting a flexibility of 10 days and how you can utilize them. Do not overburden yourself by thinking that I'm going to learn 10 words in a day, maybe
15:00 - 15:30 15 words the next day and I'm going to be done with this task in just 5 days of this 30 days master plan. Can you eat the food for the next 7 days in just one day? You can't. Obviously, you can't. Similarly, you cannot upgrade your vocabulary that you're supposed to learn consistently over a period of 30 days in just 5 days. Okay, five first days are for my vocab and the rest of the 25 days I'm going to do something else, the other tasks and all that. No, you have
15:30 - 16:00 to divide your time equally for each and every task across those 30 days. That is why it is a master plan because it is also focusing on the quality of learning. It's a master plan because it tells you how to do things. This is where people fail. They might be learning 100 words but how they learned it that matters a lot. So if you know the right manner of upgrading your vocabulary, you would not fail at
16:00 - 16:30 learning that vocabulary and then using it. Now what you're supposed to do is not supposed to go and learn words from dictionary that today I've found three words in a dictionary and I've learned them. No, you are getting your English input. Now, what is the language made up of? Words, vocabulary, phrases. This is what you're supposed to do when you're listening to English for 10 minutes. When you're reading something in English for 10 minutes, you have to note down, you have to record new words that you
16:30 - 17:00 come across. Record the words at that very particular time from that particular content. Now, why I am saying this? because you are getting the context with the word. You're not learning the word like that. And if you are going to learn the word from somewhere just like that, you would forget it. You're learning the word with the context. For example, if you are watching my vocabulary lessons that I create for you, I always give you the context, not just the meaning, but I ask
17:00 - 17:30 you to imagine the context. I provide you with the context. That is something very important. And how to do it naturally. Here I am providing you the context. But if you are to improve your vocabulary on your own from where will you get the context? You will get the context from the content that you're reading from the content that you're listening to. Because when you're listening to something, the word is there in a particular sentence. You're able to hear how it is used when it is used where it
17:30 - 18:00 is used. So when you go find the meaning of it, we're able to relate the word with its usage. Okay, this is how I'm supposed to use it. And you're also able to use it. That means the word is not going there at the back of your memory. No, it's there with you for you to use it. So do this. Keep a record. You can use a journal. You can use a diary, vocabulary diary. Just record your words. Write the example sentences. Expand your vocabulary for the next 30
18:00 - 18:30 days. At least 100 words. Now the task number three, task number three is extremely important. That is the English output. The language output. I'm speaking right now. What am I doing? I'm creating the output in English language. So when you speak that is the output. When you write that is the output because you are creating the language on your own. Now you're not
18:30 - 19:00 consuming some pre-prepared sentences by somebody. You're not consuming the language right now. You are creating the language which is very important, extremely important. So for the proper language output, something that you need to do is speak from day one. The first form of language output is to speak from day one. If you do not speak from day one, you would not see the significant improvement. If consistently you are
19:00 - 19:30 going to practice English for the next 30 days, if you speak every day for the next 30 days, for 10 minutes, 30 days, 10 minutes every day, can you imagine the level of fluency you'll reach after those 30 days? because continuously you're dedicating yourself to speaking English and that too in a predefined
19:30 - 20:00 manner. Now when you're doing your speaking practice, you can control a lot of areas of your speaking. You can target your skills. You can target a particular area of fluency. For example, today while I'm going to do my speaking practice, my target is to use as much vocabulary I'm learning as possible. Another time you can target your sentence structures. The next day you can target your pronunciation. Another day you can target the amount of time for which you
20:00 - 20:30 can speak in English continuously. There are a lot of factors which are dedicated to creating fluency in English language. Just speaking in English on random things just like that randomly. It's not just fluency. When you're practicing your English, it doesn't have to be just random. Just like that, you're spoken and that's it. You're done. It must be targeted at something. For example, increasing the amount of time for which you can speak
20:30 - 21:00 in English or maybe using more words while speaking English, using new words while speaking in English. There must be a particular target for your speaking fluency. 10 minutes of dedicated speaking practice is your language output and you have to speak from day one. Task number four. Task number four is immersion in the language. You have to immerse in English language. Immersion means totally get surrounded
21:00 - 21:30 by the English language. Do not leave any other option for yourself. Rather than reading in English, listening to English and speaking in English, you have to pay attention towards your surrounding that you create an English-speaking environment for yourself just like a native English speaker gets. You have to create replicate that kind of environment and you have to make efforts for it. You have to do it. Surround yourself by the
21:30 - 22:00 English content more and more. The more you surround yourself by English content, you would not have any other option to watch or to read or to listen to any other language or your native language. Right? So you have to give yourself the option of English and just English. Surround yourself with English. Create a comfortable environment. You can keep your favorite novels. You can include your favorite TV shows. Maybe
22:00 - 22:30 your favorite movie that you can watch in English. Anytime you want to interact with something. So if you want to watch a movie, watch it in English. If you want to watch a TV series, watch it in English. And this is something that you must dedicate apart from those 20 minutes of English input. That is a task for you. That English input is a task supposed to do. Now immersion means that for the
22:30 - 23:00 whole day you have to interact with as much English as possible. Apart from those 10 minutes if you want to listen to something you should listen to an English song maybe an English podcast. Watch something in English on YouTube. Give yourself the natural English environment. Going outside you need to pay attention to something that is there in English. If you interact with English visually around you, it creates a lot of subconscious conditioning of your mind for you to speak fluently in English.
23:00 - 23:30 Now the subconscious conditioning is the fact that you are taking input from around the environment in the surrounding whenever possible. There's a deliberate input you're taking. And this kind of environment is like the environment that you're doing on the go. You're not standing. You're not making note. You're just noticing as you're doing your tasks, as you are living your life, as you're engaging in your daily routine, you're just noticing the English that is
23:30 - 24:00 there around you. And that is what you're supposed to do. The English environment, immerse in English as much as possible because immersion gives you a native like environment. And in this environment, you thrive in English. You consume more and then you become more fluent. Task number five is Task number five is your consistency. So you can say it's a bonus
24:00 - 24:30 task. The consistency that means whatever I've told you all the other tasks that I've told you today they must be done each day every day consistently for 30 days. This is a 30-day master plan. Skipping one day means that you have to start all over again. 30 days master plan doesn't mean that you can skip one day, two day and then extend it. No, if you skip a day, you start all over again for the next 30 days without
24:30 - 25:00 any break. You cannot miss a day. You can't. If you want to see that significant fluency, significant improvement in the way you speak, you have to be consistent for 30 days. Continuous practice for the next 30 days and focus on the quality. Like I said, you have to focus on the quality over quantity. Do not think that you're reading extra for the first five days.
25:00 - 25:30 That means you can skip reading in between. No, you have to read each day and every day. Like I told you, you cannot eat the food for next seven days in just one day, in just 24 hours. You can't do that, right? You can't overburden your digestive system with that. Similarly, you cannot overburden your mind, your memory with things in just one day or 5 days and think that you're going to take liberty with the challenge. You have to divide the task in a way that they benefit you the most.
25:30 - 26:00 That is why I have designed this 30 days master plan for you. 30 days to become absolutely fluent in English. The five tasks that you are supposed to take for the next 30 days. The master plan to reach absolute fluency to transform your English fluency. A master plan designed by me just for you. So, are you all ready to take the challenge? Are you all ready for the master plan? comment and
26:00 - 26:30 let me know about it. So, what are you waiting for? Go take up this challenge. Take up the master plan from today for the next 30 days. That's it for today. That is it. I'm going to meet you again with a new lesson. Till then everybody, take care and take the challenge. Bye. [Music]
