Chapters

Rumors hinted that the team behind Mario Odyssey was developing this new 3D Donkey Kong game, and these have proven to be true, putting an end to the long wait for Donkey Kong fans.
00:30 - 01:00: Croc Watch and New Donkey Kong Updates This chapter introduces the theme 'Croc Watch,' which humorously refers to following crocodile-related news. However, the main discussion centers around updates on the Donkey Kong franchise, specifically following the latest Nintendo Direct. The speaker reflects on the current lack of information regarding future Donkey Kong games and emphasizes the importance of appreciating recent updates.
01:00 - 02:30: Discussion on New Villains and King K. Rool Speculations The chapter discusses updates regarding Donkey Kong, new villains, and speculations surrounding King K. Rool. The speaker expresses enthusiasm for sharing this information and encourages listeners to subscribe and like if they are interested in keeping up with Donkey Kong news. The focus of the chapter is on getting excited and involved with the Donkey Kong community.
02:30 - 04:30: Evidence for King K. Rool's Presence The narrator reflects on comments they received regarding their thoughts on the new villains in the upcoming Donkey Kong game. They express a personal hope for King K. Rool's presence in the game but are open to enjoying the game regardless. They appreciate the design of the new villains and commit to loving the game whether or not King K. Rool is included.
04:30 - 07:00: Cranky Kong's Role and Animal Buddies Speculation This chapter discusses the perceived improvement in villain characters in a game series, particularly noting a progression from the Tikis to the Snow Mads. The narrator believes the new villains are more interesting and even speculates the return of beloved characters like King K. Rool and potentially the Kremling crew. The belief is based on compelling evidence, though it's noted there's no confirmation yet. The focus remains on the hope and excitement for these classic characters to make a return.
07:00 - 09:30: Odd Rock and Pauline Connection Theories The chapter titled 'Odd Rock and Pauline Connection Theories' discusses an intriguing image shared on an online platform, possibly Fammy Boards, by a user named Professor Chops. This image compiles evidence supporting theories about the possible appearance of Kremlings or King K Rool in an upcoming game. The chapter hints at additional aspects not covered in the image, suggesting further discussion on the topic.
09:30 - 11:30: Void Company and Potential Leader Theories This chapter discusses recent developments regarding a game event called Donkey Kong Bonanza, with particular focus on a character named Kru. The author highlights various pieces of evidence that might indicate Kru's significance in the event. Key details include the presence of golden crocodilian skeletons within the game, which are noteworthy due to their distinct skull shapes. The chapter aims to explore and analyze these findings to better understand Kru's potential role and importance.
11:30 - 14:30: King K. Rool's Possible Alter Ego The chapter delves into the intriguing topic of King K. Rool's possible alter ego, focusing on observations made from certain visual characteristics. It appears that a specific shape, particularly in terms of the snout angle and prominent teeth, strongly resembles traits associated with Kremlings, a group of fictional crocodilian antagonists in the Donkey Kong series. The narrative highlights the presence of multiple crocodile skeletons, as seen in Nintendo Treehouse gameplay, reinforcing the theory of a connection to Kremlings or possibly an alter ego of King K. Rool.
14:30 - 17:00: Fan Excitement for King K. Rool's Return The chapter discusses fan excitement regarding the potential return of the character King K. Rool from the Kremling crew. It highlights a particular image showing a crocodile skeleton with four digits, similar to Kremlings, unlike real crocodiles which have five. This detail sparks discussions among fans. It also mentions the presence of rock crocodile enemies called croccoids in the game, suggesting a connection to the Kremling crew.
17:00 - 18:30: Speculations on Character Redesigns and Presence The chapter speculates about character redesigns, particularly focusing on a character that resembles King K. Rool. It points out that the character features patterns that reference both arcade game girders and King K. Rool's cape. The author reflects on having initially thought this linkage closed the case on the redesign explanation. However, a realization dawns that the pattern is also just the girder design from the arcade game, suggesting a deeper exploration into character design influences.
18:30 - 20:30: Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong's Possible Roles In this chapter, the focus is on the possible roles and connections of characters Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong in a game context. The mention of an arcade Donkey Kong game surfaces, highlighting the heavy use of crocodile imagery. Notably, there is a discussion on how a croccoid enemy's bracelet resembles King K. Rool's bracelet, suggesting a deeper connection or symbolism, and how enemies appear to align with Kruโs image.
20:30 - 25:30: Wrapping Up and Audience Engagement In this chapter, the speaker describes a large statue adorned with various crocodile-like faces. The top of the statue is noted to have a golden fire-like feature, which the speaker interprets as resembling a crown. This observation fuels the ongoing discussion about a character or theme, possibly 'K-Rule.' Additionally, the speaker shifts focus to some visible crocodile skeletons, indicating a continuity in the discussion about crocodile imagery.
We need to talk about this Transcription
00:00 - 00:30 [Music] after 11 long years of waiting a new Donkey Kong game is finally almost upon us rumors circulated for years that the Mario Odyssey team was working on a brand new 3D Donkey Kong game it turns out those rumors were pretty accurate so at last finally the Kong coping can stop and the croc coping can start baby
00:30 - 01:00 welcome to Croc Watch yeah that's right we're we're we're coping for the croc now baby that's what we're here for oh yeah oh yeah okay all right uh being real for a minute this is really just an excuse for me to talk about some new Donkey Kong updates that have sort of uh sizzled out over the last couple of days ever since the uh the Nintendo Direct i don't know how long it's going to be until we get another Donkey Kong game after this one so I' I'd really just like to take advantage of this time that
01:00 - 01:30 we have before July to just talk about DK man there's updates i might as well go over this stuff am I right i mean that's that's largely what this channel was founded upon and I have fun doing it so if you're also interested in keeping up with the Donkey Kong news and you're not subscribed go ahead hit that subscribe button hit that like button we got a lot of stuff to go over today and I man I I'm so excited to get into it but before we get into that I I I do want to just acknowledge uh some of the
01:30 - 02:00 comments that I had gotten on the last video going going over the trailer that were wondering my thoughts on the new villains in the new Donkey Kong game which look I'm just going to say I'm just going to throw this out there me personally I really want King K Rule to be in this game but even if he's not look I'm still going to play this game and I'm going to love this game to bits it looks phenomenal if he's not here it's not the end of the world the new guys actually look pretty cool i really like their designs and I I I already
02:00 - 02:30 think they're a lot more interesting than both the Tikis and the Snow Mads the Snowads were a step up from the Tikis and these guys are definitely a step up from them as well in my opinion so if it turns out that these are just the main villains of the game and that's it oh well you know no harm no foul i'm not going to go cry about it that being said I do really believe that there is some compelling evidence that King K Rule at the very least King K Rule is going to be in this game if not the Kremling crew as well but but Krule well
02:30 - 03:00 let's just get into it there was an image that popped up on I believe it was Fammy Boards i want to say from Professor Chops i don't know i was sent this image by a couple of different people i think it was from Professor Chops can't be too sure sorry if if it wasn't credit to whoever put this together but they kind of put together just a little image showcasing all of the evidence that we have that we might get Kremlings in this game and if not the Kremlings again King K Rule at the very least i also have a couple of other things to go over outside of this image
03:00 - 03:30 um we're not just going to talk about King K Rule here we're just going to go over a bunch of the news that's kind of come out uh over the last couple of days regarding Donkey Kong Bonanza cuz there's a lot of different things but there's definitely a lot of evidence pointing towards Kru that I felt very important to go over and digest a little bit so let's kick it off from the very top here you can see at different points in the game there are some like golden crocodilian skeletons and if you get a look at their skull shapes like the the
03:30 - 04:00 shape is unmistakably K rules or at the very least like a Kremlin type looking thing but it's just the like the way the snout is kind of angled the way the the teeth stick out of the skull too it's just it gives off the most Kremlin looking vibes we have another crocodile skeleton down here as well uh scene from the Nintendo Treehouse gameplay so we're definitely getting a lot of crocodile looking skeletons so far makes you
04:00 - 04:30 wonder what's going on with the Kremling crew here this image makes note of the fact that this crocodile skeleton has four long digits on each hand similar to a Kremling and not a real crocodile which has five long digits that's an important little uh piece of note there we go down a little further and we get a look at some of these rock crocodile enemies which are uh officially called croccoids in this game if that isn't enough of a giveaway I don't know what is but the croccoids as they show here
04:30 - 05:00 look like caricatures of K Rule complete with a pattern on their bodies that not only reference the girders from the arcade game but also the pattern on King Kru's cape now this was something that I had also noticed and you can also see it on the little I don't know rock ship thing that the the monkey guy is riding my first thought and I even mentioned in the last video that like yeah that that pattern is there and that's on Kroll's cape like it felt like okay case closed that's it um but then it also dawned on me that like well okay that's actually also just the girder pattern from the
05:00 - 05:30 arcade Donkey Kong game but what's interesting about it here is that it is being used very heavily with the croccoid imagery and and the uh you know just patterns on these rock crocodile enemies that is where it's featured most prominently in this game they also show here that the bracelet on this croccoid enemy looks eerily similar to the bracelet thing that uh King K Rule has on so we're seeing a lot of enemies that are showing up in Kru's image i would
05:30 - 06:00 also like to point out that this large statue thing with all these different croc looking faces on it you know look at the very top looks like probably some kind of golden fire thing or something but it's also the shape of it gives off the impression that that kind I don't know that kind of looks like a crown to me wouldn't you say i mean that I don't know that's what it looks like to me that's what I'm thinking so again just more fuel to the K- Rule fire and then up here we get a really good glimpse at these crocodile skeletons uh I'm just going to start referring to them as
06:00 - 06:30 Kremlings they have to be Kremlings man and here's why okay look does this stance look familiar how about the fact that its arms are longer than its legs well yeah just like a gremling and there there are a lot of animal creatures i I guess they're just animals in Donkey Kong and they're usually portrayed how an animal would be you know you have Rambi who's a rhino he's on four legs espresso the ostrich up on two legs you know that whole shebang but the Kremlings have always been humanoid you
06:30 - 07:00 know they've always been bipedal if this was just any old crocodile thing don't you think it would probably be on all fours no no cuz cuz it's Kremlin it's a Kremlin right there in the last video we made note of the fact that Cranky Kong is in this game like officially he's here and uh we actually got another glimpse of him during the Treehouse gameplay and uh supposedly he's just like in the game I think at uh these various like play test
07:00 - 07:30 events that are go uh that are going on and we get some very very interesting blurbs of dialogue from Cranky that definitely insinuate that there's something more going on here than just these void co guys so he mentions that when I heard there was a banana bandit on the loose I knew who to blame just had to sus out where he ran to hide and they make note of "If Cranky already knows who the banana bandit is it can't be the new villains from Voidco." And
07:30 - 08:00 now you might be thinking well why is that well there was some dialogue on the Japanese site for this game and uh it translates to during the storm a mysterious group called Void Company whose identity and purpose are completely unknown uprooted the Golden Bananas and took them away to me that's a little bit of a smoking gun here because Cranky Kong would not know who these guys are he he refers to whoever he's referring to here in a way that
08:00 - 08:30 implies that like well they've already maybe run into whoever this is before now I I I I don't think it's likely he's referring to the Tikis or the Snowads krule has stolen the bananas more than anybody in this series but he also refers to whoever he's referring to as a he that's a singular person you know he doesn't know who Voidco is don't know who that is talks about them as though he knows exactly who it is that they got to blame and if that's not enough he also mentions "What a rotten crook how
08:30 - 09:00 does a fool like that command any respect?" I'm just saying i'm just saying man he questions how this thief could command any respect as if he has underlings who serve him need I say more we also have a little snippet from the uh the fake credits role in Donkey Kong Country where he refers to himself as a commander i'm just saying I'm just saying and then he goes on to say "In my day rivals had charisma even in overalls." Referring to his own little rivalry against Mario since Cranky Kong
09:00 - 09:30 is the original arcade Donkey Kong according to DK lore he's talking about it like "Okay he's a rival of sorts." Do you know where else King K Rule has been specifically referred to as a rival for DK and the Kongs super Smash Brothers that's literally the name of the ultimate trailer for King K Rule the rivals come on man come on come on man i would also like to make note of the fact that during the treehouse demonstration
09:30 - 10:00 for this game they run into Cranky and then don't actually go through his little dialogue tree they just kind of go away they they they back out and go go do something else almost as though they didn't want to have to uh read through that and acknowledge that uh Cranky could be referring to uh somebody more specific you know what I'm talking about you know what I'm saying it's just very suspicious all of these things and as a little bit of an aside as well Cranky also namerops Rambi and there's a
10:00 - 10:30 little icon for him too i don't know if this is sort of a soft confirmation that the animal buddies are going to be making more of an appearance in this game i have a little bit of a a theory potentially that the next trailer for this game is going to show off Kongs Cranky Kongs here i think it it only makes sense that we're going to get some other Kongs and I'll get into that in just a little bit but I also think Animal Buddies are going to have a little bit more of a role in this game than they have in a long time cuz we
10:30 - 11:00 also get a view of Espresso Island espresso Island is what I'm going to call it and it's possible that we might get Espresso again for the first time in I don't know what 30 years hard to say don't know for sure but I think the fact that like they name dropped Rami and even had a little icon and I don't know i get the feeling that we're going to get at least some Rambi but I hope we get some other ones too cuz Animal Buddies always felt like such a an integral part of the DK series just like
11:00 - 11:30 the Kremlings and then the last little snippet from this image shows Naughty the Naughty Fossil how about that so we know we know for a fact that there is tons and tons of rare imagery and references there is too much smoke here man there's too much smoke here for there to not be fire maybe we're just croc coping over here and seeing what we want to see but I don't think that's the case i really just don't there's too much going on i'm going to point out too that uh from this screenshot we see some
11:30 - 12:00 little icons over here on uh the right side of the screen and you know out of all of the references and things that we've seen most of it is very Rare ccentric but we do actually get a slight nod I believe to uh Retro's Donkey Kong series in the form of I believe it's probably a Professor Chops icon that might be what's going on here so we do have that but then right below it we get what I think might be a spider icon it kind of looks like a spider wouldn't you say is that is that a possibility that
12:00 - 12:30 we're going to get a reference to Squitter in this game boy another character that hasn't been around in a long long time that would be really cool i'm just totally down for anything from Rareware that they can stuff into this thing man but anyway getting back to the King K rule stuff I think it it should also be noted that there is an interesting motif across most of the enemies that we've seen in this game so far most of them have these golden eyes
12:30 - 13:00 and is there anything in particular that you notice about these things well in case you're like me and you need it spelled out for you the eyes kind of have a little bit of a K rule thing going on don't you think i don't think this is a stretch either they're like misshapen and misaligned on like most of these enemies this one here in particular with the snowball looking thing I think is where it's the most obvious i mean get a look at Kru's eyes here man and then look at these like it almost gives off the impression that like K rule is constantly watching you
13:00 - 13:30 on this journey of yours to go get these bananas back bonandium or whatever it's called which wouldn't be all that dissimilar to DK64 where Krule has like surveillance on the Kongs for their entire journey through that game this is kind of a different way of doing it but it it it gives off that vibe wouldn't you say like I think that would be kind of cool if like Krule is sort of watching your every move through this journey i don't know i just I'm just
13:30 - 14:00 saying it would be kind of cool there were some pretty u compelling theories and speculations that even Odd Rock the the new companion for this game could potentially be K Rule it sounds a little crazy but when you look at this thing look even his eyes are all misaligned just like a lot of the enemies from this game but what's even more interesting about his little eyes his one eye looks very similar to the gem that K Rule
14:00 - 14:30 typically has on his chest how cool would that have been to find out later in the game that K Rule was actually tagging along with you the entire time but that was kind of recently debunked uh thanks to one of the websites talking about this game i I don't know which one it came from they accidentally posted a render i'm pretty sure they were wanting to save this one but it kind of got out it looks like kid Pauline Pauline Jr pauline's daughter i don't know and she wears a bracelet that looks an awful lot
14:30 - 15:00 like uh like the rock looks looks awful rocky and purple and the fact that she has a whole singing thing going along with it as demonstrated in the uh the treehouse gameplay it feels likely that there's some sort of connection with this character to Pauline no idea what it is no idea what we're in for i will say that if this turns out to be like Pauline's daughter or something like that I think there's some really cool potential here for there to be like a really wholesome moment of redemption
15:00 - 15:30 for just for the entire Kong lineage cuz obviously in the original arcade Donkey Kong you have Donkey Kong aka Cranky Kong who kidnapped Pauline and now 40 plus years later you have Donkey Kong rescuing Pauline's daughter no idea if that's who this is but I'm going to that that's my guess that's my personal guess and I don't know man like just something about Donkey Kong having like this Boo and Sully like relationship with this kid just sounds really adorable to me i
15:30 - 16:00 I I just I don't know i like the sound of that it's something that you you would never expect to see from a Donkey Kong game of all things but I don't know i think that could be really wholesome and sweet and there's even more of a connection to Odyssey and potentially Colleen uh Colleen there's there's even more of a a connection a potential connection to Odyssey and Pauline with some of these crates that have been spotted throughout the game that have NDC labeled across them new Donk City makes you wonder man makes you wonder if
16:00 - 16:30 we're going to end up at New Donk City at some point in this game there was a lot of speculation that like maybe this is Kid Pauline and this is actually a prequel to even the original arcade Donkey Kong game and that's why all the street signs in Odyssey have Donkey Kong character names labeled on them because maybe they were all going to maybe all these characters even Krule team up to save New Donk City or or you know not save New Donk City save young Pauline then she names the streets after them in their honor and as cool of a theory as
16:30 - 17:00 that is there's just not a lot that makes sense about that because we have Cranky Kong here and he's the original Donkey Kong so it probably doesn't make sense that this would be a prequel unless this is Cranky Kong and this is just Cranky Kong's grandpa but eh probably not too likely and on top of that well we have dead Kremlings dead Kremlings everywhere and uh well they're not dead um in the Donkey Kong Country series which takes place after the
17:00 - 17:30 arcade games yeah it's a whole thing but anyway getting back into the K rule speculation and specifically Voidco on two different websites so on the English version of the website talking about Voidco it specifically poses the question who is Voidco and what do they really want whereas on the French website this blurb of dialogue here actually translates to who is behind Voidco implying that there is a mastermind or at least somebody in a higher position of power uh at the company so this little this little
17:30 - 18:00 monkey dude this little gremlin looking guy here is probably not the leader maybe he's like a manager or something but probably not the guy behind it all i will say though to add on to all of that he kind of has a little bit of a K- Rule thing going on here too don't you think i mean look get a close look at this guy he's got the veins popping out in his eyes got that crazy look with his eyes and he's even got gold teeth man kru's got his big gold belly and a big gold crown and his gold bracelets so I don't
18:00 - 18:30 know maybe Kru just he wants to bling it up the bonandium is shown to have like some explosive properties some powerful properties to them so maybe he's just trying to upgrade the gold for himself and the Kremlins take down those stinking Kongs once and for all you know and the final thing of note uh regarding this little monkey dude these little monkey guys he's riding a little ship looking thing i mean it it's probably like a banana has a banana shape to it you know but I think it also kind of
18:30 - 19:00 looks a little bit like a pirate ship don't you think maybe from the front got a little bit of that going on it's even got like the girder pattern on it which is again we what we've seen so far is this pattern being used in conjunction with the enemies of this game more so with the croccoids and the crocodilian looking things but even this little guy has it on his little banana ship banana pirate ship thing the Gangplank Gallion was was a pirate ship and dude how cool would it be if the Gangplank Gallions in this game and they have that theme oh my
19:00 - 19:30 god I would lose my mind that's enough on those little fellas i do want to speculate just a little bit about if Krule is in this game which honestly I think there's a pretty compelling argument here uh being made that he probably is what sort of alter ego could he potentially have this time around is he going to just show up in his kingly attire you know the the iconic look that we all know and love totally possible we might get that even along with something else i just want to speculate just a
19:30 - 20:00 smidge about the possibilities because it's always such a fun part of King K Rule's character you know showed up as a king in the first game a pirate captain in the second game you know the whole Frankenstein thing in the third one and then of course the boxing attire in DK64 it just it's so much fun he's such a crazy character man and you never know you never used to know how he would turn up next so if Krule is behind Voidco you know maybe he's like the guy who's funding the whole thing i think it could
20:00 - 20:30 be kind of silly if he shows up as maybe some sort of CEO you know Kru shows up in a big CEO outfit and a wig that's a fun possibility but this game also has a very overt mining theme to it with all the gold and I mean even DK here so who knows maybe he'll show up as like some sort of prospector i think that could also be a really fun way to portray him in this game but you know we also have Donkey Kong in sort of like a prospector sort of thing himself so I don't know maybe this sort of more hands-on kind of
20:30 - 21:00 guy you know going up against a CEO i don't know could be kind of could be a kind of fun thing going on there but then also you have to consider that we have all of these dead Kremlings and a lot of the things that we're seeing Rareware related are showing up as almost like ancient and prehistoric you know we got a fossilized naughty we have the the Kremling skeletons and ancient looking structures so who maybe maybe just maybe we'll get like a prehistoric kind of King K rule or something or
21:00 - 21:30 maybe something a little more feral and anim animalistic like we we saw him kind of behaving like in Super Smash Brothers don't know but it's a lot of fun to speculate i would also like to uh bring up and emphasize just how big of a deal it was for Krule to be included in Smash Brothers during the Smash 4 days we had the Smash Fighter ballot which allowed uh people just like you and me to vote characters vote for characters to hopefully get into the game and Krule
21:30 - 22:00 was supposedly one of the most highly requested characters during that period and so he got into Smash Brothers during Ultimate i mean that doesn't show you the amount of love and support that people have for this character and how much we want to see him return to not only Smash Brothers we got to get him back in the next match by the way but you know to the Donkey Kong series he's such a big part of it it solidified K Rule as Donkey Kong's nemesis after so many years of being absent not just from the DK series but just games in general
22:00 - 22:30 he was gone for like 10 years or something crazy like that until he made his grand red in Smash and then it ended up being one of the most viewed trailers from Ultimate krule was a big deal on top of this supposedly Retro Studios was going to include a Krule boss fight in the Switch port of Tropical Freeze but they ended up holding off on that so that his return in uh Smash Brothers would be a much bigger deal you know they decided to make Smash his grand
22:30 - 23:00 re-vealing rather than a port of Tropical Freeze and I think that was the right move because man it was such a big deal to get Krule in Smash i can't believe it's been as long as it has now since that reveal i voted for K Rule during the Smash ballot days by the way I voted for him like every day that I could i would get on and submit a new uh [ย __ย ] vote for King K Rule i I'm I'm sure I'm probably a big part of why that happened at all probably 90% of the
23:00 - 23:30 votes were from me you're welcome nintendo has to know they have to [ย __ย ] know just how important this character is by now to the fans of Donkey Kong and just the series as a whole you know it would be like it would be like a Mario game without Bowser or a Sonic game without Dr robotnik you know with all of these rare nods and Croc references on display there's just too much smoke i don't think we would be wrong to uh start getting prematurely
23:30 - 24:00 excited for for K Rule to be in this game i understand us DK fans who've had it rough when it comes to the Kremlings i mean it feels like they've been mistreated for a long time so I don't blame anybody for still remaining skeptical and and not wanting to get their hopes up only to be let down in the end but I I don't know man i I just can't help but feel like it's time and if I could just throw a little bit more speculation in there you know the ending of Odyssey was really epic and this game is most definitely by the Odyssey team
24:00 - 24:30 it looks it looks like Donkey Kong Odyssey you know if Krule is the final boss of this game oh my god i can only imagine how [ย __ย ] epic this is about to be man i would really I I really just picture something even like the Smash Ultimate trailer where at the end you have these two juggernauts clashing in an allout brawl and if they brought something like that to Donkey Kong Bonanza I'm going to be a a sobbing
24:30 - 25:00 nearly 30-year-old man about Monkey Game i think that's really about all I have as far as the K Rule speculation goes and a bunch of the other little details that have sprung up over the last week or so i would like to debunk something from the last video though because I mentioned about potentially seeing the blastoic and a kremling looking shaped snow head thing but it was kind of pointed out to me that h it's probably not the blastoic there's some like zebra
25:00 - 25:30 characters you even see like a little pattern on the side of this blastomatic zebra head looking thing it's like yeah okay that's a zebra you got these pipes on the side that are probably like the stripes and then on the snow guy you have like what is probably the main of a zebra not not a Kremlin but that being said these two little details being debunked are really minuscule compared to everything else that we have going for us right now and I bet you never thought I was going to get back around to this but uh I I didn't forget the Kongs the Kongs I think have a decent
25:30 - 26:00 chance of being in this game at the very least as NPCs although I'm not even entirely convinced that uh that you know they might not be some sort of powerup for DK dk's move set is already great in this game and I think he's going to be a lot of fun to play and control the animal buddies may also help with that to to give just a little bit more flavor and variety but I think that the Kongs may potentially at the very least like Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong might act as some sort of power up i don't know for sure that this is heavy speculation even
26:00 - 26:30 heavier than the Kremlin stuff but you know you have this Odd Rock character that sits on DK's left shoulder and his right shoulder is totally barren you know almost like a perfect spot to have another little fella riding over there so you know maybe Diddy will still kind of show up as like a a power up sort of deal like he did in Returns and Tropical Freeze you know just give you a little bit of free air time with a little jetpack and who knows maybe something similar with Dixie even if Dixie isn't available like that I I still think at the very least getting Diddy Kong in
26:30 - 27:00 there would it just makes sense man he's He's Donkey Kong's right-hand man he's got to be here um but the reason I bring up Diddy in particular right now is because uh turns out that Diddy's actually had just a slight little redesign nothing insane but we can see in the 2D artwork that he's got a little bit of like an eyebrow bump going on here it's likely going to help with his expressiveness a little bit more and I think it could also potentially be why we haven't seen Diddy Kong in the new Mario Kart game yet cuz you know Diddy Kong's in Mario Kart Tour and he just
27:00 - 27:30 got readded to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it feels kind of weird that they would just totally leave him out of the picture for the new Mario Kart which is boasting the largest character roster that the series has seen so far i think maybe they're saving Diddy Kong for the next trailer of Donkey Kong Bonanza and then maybe they'll unveil him for Mario Kart World again highly speculative there's no guarantee about this but it could be inferred from the 2D art that he is going to have a slight redesign uh when
27:30 - 28:00 he inevitably shows up in some shape or form in 3D again and I think it's very possible that it'll be for this game even on the Donkey there's a new Donkey Kong calendar you can see him on there with it this calendar also features Dixie Kong so I I do feel like maybe Dixie is going to show up in the game somehow somewhere maybe as an NPC maybe even Diddy as an NPC don't know i don't know it's getting a bit rambly now so guys I want to hear from you do you want to see King K rule in this game do you think this evidence that uh I presented
28:00 - 28:30 here in this video today is enough to convince you that he is going to be here i don't blame you for not getting your hopes up if if you're like me and you really want to see the guy but I'm pretty convinced at this point i don't know if they're going to show him in the next trailer i don't even know if they're going to reveal that he's in the game before it releases it would be very much in the spirit of Donkey Kong and King K Rule to just save him until the very end of the game whenever he has his big grand appearance and if that is the case and he he shows up as like the
28:30 - 29:00 final boss of this thing then I I definitely don't think they're going to show him in a trailer but if he does show up through the game and he's referenced throughout the game then like I I think we'll at least get a glimpse of him the fact that Cranky is clearly probably clearly probably those are those are not not words that go together too well doesn't show a lot of confidence but uh he's clearly probably referring to King Kru who knows maybe maybe he will show up in a trailer we'll see i think at the very least maybe we'll get a little bit of a hint of some
29:00 - 29:30 more like Kremlin activity or something like that in the next trailer to really just cement that uh there's something going on with these guys again let me know your thoughts in the comments below if you're new to this channel and you you made it to the end hit that like button for me and subscribe i'd really like to go over some more Donkey Kong evidence and and details leading up to the release of this game any excuse than I can get to talk a bit more about Donkey Kong and this game because who
29:30 - 30:00 knows how long it's going to be again after this thing uh before I get to speculate about this all over again isn't is Isn't Isn't this just crazy i get to sit here in 2025 and speculate about a new Donkey Kong game it's crazy i don't know that I've ever speculated over a Donkey Kong game the last one was 11 years ago in 2014 when I was still in high school i was a high school junior now I do this for my job it's kind of cool leave your thoughts in the comments below subscribe if you haven't already i'm repeating myself now thanks for
