Apple separates China’s November beta from December iPhone AI rollout

By OpenTools Team

The October 31 announcement schedules developer testing first; next‑generation Siri AI is outside this update.

Two availability stages

Apple’s October 31 announcement sets November 4 for developer‑beta testing and December’s iOS 27.3 for consumer availability in China. Beta access should not be confused with the public release. Other platforms depend on required approvals; the announcement supplies no approval date.

Qwen is a scoped integration

Apple says Qwen supports selected Siri requests, Writing Tools and Visual Intelligence. That does not make Qwen the model for every feature. This update explicitly excludes Siri AI and other next‑generation Apple Intelligence features announced at WWDC 2026.

Check eligibility

Apple’s core‑release list names iPhone 16 and later, iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, Air and Duo. Supported device/Siri language settings include English and Simplified Chinese; some features vary by language or region.
