Channel visibility is checked before Slack‑triggered deliveries; organization‑wide artifact viewing stays link‑only unless discoverability is requested.
The delivery check
For its Slack‑triggered webhook and agent channel deliveries, Glean’s October 29 release says it now verifies a subscriber’s channel visibility before sending the message. The check is automatic.
Viewing versus discovery
Granting colleagues organization‑wide view access does not automatically make an artifact findable. The sharing tool keeps that access link‑only; inclusion in Search and the Library needs an explicit discoverability request.
A colleague with viewing access can therefore open a shared link without discovering the artifact in search; Slack delivery uses a separate audience check.
