Early‑access Personal and Team Agents have different action boundaries; shared findings retain links and confirmation status.
Goals need permission
Honeycomb’s November 3 announcement puts Personal and Team Agents in early access. Personal Agent acts on recommendations only when instructed. Team Agents receive goals and can work on a schedule, trigger or service‑level objective. Ticket filing, paging or fix drafting depends on team‑granted permissions. The goal describes the work; permissions bound the actions.
Trace the finding
Honeycomb says Team Agents build shared memory from investigations, linking findings to a query, trace, deploy or ticket and labeling them confirmed or hypothetical. These links support inspection, not our verification of a conclusion or proof of regression prevention.
For an architecture review, the enterprise design reference asks who may request actions and which memory is trusted. It is broader context, not Honeycomb documentation.
