November 2’s changes separate meeting‑record migration from choosing the computer that runs routines.
Move existing meeting records
Windows users of Whimbrel’s AI assistant can import transcripts, Granola CSV and Markdown from the Meetings tab in Whimbrel’s November 2 v0.9.46 release. It also adds an optional recording notice, with wording to copy and a consent note.
November 1’s history already lists import formats and a Mac notice. This is a Windows migration step, not a first‑ever launch. Supported inputs do not establish lossless conversion or legally sufficient consent.
Choose the routine runner
On Mac, v0.9.46 loads the device list at launch so only the primary runs routines. A device waits as failover until the list loads.
This governs which computer runs existing routines; primary‑device control predates this update. The vendor warns that Mac and Windows builds can arrive a few hours apart.
