    Summary

The second Dream Journal Test featuring INTJs and ENTPs faced numerous challenges, including participant dropouts. Although it had fewer participants than the first test, intriguing patterns still emerged, such as INTJs' fascination with time, space, and structures, and their unique sensory details. ENTPs provided limited data, with notable themes involving anonymous groups of people. The test hints at types having distinct unconscious focal points in their dreams. This ongoing exploration aims to uncover whether different personality types focus on specific realms in their unconscious mind, potentially revealing deeper psychological patterns.

      Highlights

      • The test had fewer participants due to dropouts, reducing its scale but retaining value 🌐.
      • INTJs showed a deep interest in time and space within their dreams, often featuring water 💧.
      • ENTPs provided sparse data, focusing on people without clear identities 🙃.
      • The study explores the idea of MBTI types having distinct unconscious dream focuses 🌙.
      • INTJs also dreamed about typology, a unique aspect among the types so far 🌀.

      Key Takeaways

      • The Dream Journal Test faced participant dropouts but still revealed intriguing patterns 🌟.
      • INTJs are fascinated with time, space, and structure in their dreams ⏳.
      • ENTPs, though limited in data, displayed themes of anonymous groups 👫.

      • The study suggests types focus on different psychological realms in dreams 🕵️.

      Overview

The second iteration of the Dream Journal Test, focusing on INTJs and ENTPs, encountered several challenges, primarily due to participant dropout. Despite having fewer participants, the findings remain compelling as they reveal particular dream patterns tied to personality types. This test dives into the psyche of INTJs and ENTPs, unveiling how these cognitive styles manifest in the dreaming state.

INTJs exhibited a curious fixation with themes of time, space, and structure. There was also a notable presence of water symbolism and a peculiar focus on sensory details and typology. These themes suggest an underlying cognitive exploration occurring within their dreams, potentially tied to their unique personality makeup. The fascination with space and time hints at a deeper psychological need to understand the world around them.

While ENTP data was limited, the presence of anonymous groups within their dreams provides a narrative that might delve into social dynamics or identity. This initial observation leads to broader questions about how cognitive functions influence dream content. The study proposes that MBTI types may each possess unique, unconscious areas of focus, bringing new depth to our understanding of the psychological insights dreams can offer.

            Chapters

            • 00:00 - 00:30: Introduction to the Dream Journal Test The chapter introduces the Dream Journal Test involving personality types such as INTJs and ENTPs. It announces the completion of the test and explains how the PDF document of the results can be accessed for free through Patreon. The narrator describes some challenges faced during the process, such as participants dropping out and difficulties in maintaining contact, ultimately resulting in only half of the expected participants completing the test.
            • 00:30 - 03:30: INTJ Dream Patterns and Observations The chapter focuses on the dream patterns and observations of individuals with the INTJ personality type. It mentions a previous dream journal test and highlights the usefulness of the current study. The speaker anticipates emerging patterns despite some challenges and begins discussing observed behaviors in INTJs.
            • 03:30 - 04:30: ENTP Dream Patterns and Observations This chapter delves into the paradoxical relationship ENTPs have with structure, specifically in the context of their dream patterns. The narrative highlights how ENTPs exhibit a tendency to obsess over one aspect of structure while neglecting others, a pattern observed both within and beyond the realm of dream journaling. This selective concern leads to a deeper understanding of how ENTPs prioritize certain structural elements to the detriment of a more holistic approach.
            • 04:30 - 06:30: Unconscious Realms of Focus in MBTI Types The chapter explores the unconscious realms of focus in MBTI types, emphasizing their fascination with concepts of space and time. It discusses how different types are concerned with the effects of time and how they perceive spaces, places, and forms in relation to time.
            • 06:30 - 08:30: Implications and Speculations This chapter explores the themes of time, space, and formlessness. It delves into the existential dread associated with the loss of form and structure, portraying a lurking, almost malevolent presence outside of space and time. Water is noted as a recurring motif, particularly in the dreams of individuals with the INTJ personality type, suggesting a deeper, symbolic significance that the narrator is still grappling with. The chapter invites readers to ponder the implications of these recurring themes and consider their intuitive resonances.
            • 08:30 - 10:00: Conclusion and Call to Action In the concluding chapter titled 'Conclusion and Call to Action,' the discussion emphasizes the significance of sensory details in dreams, particularly focusing on the space and time aspect, which seems to fascinate the INTJs. There's a mention of the inferior function playing a potential role in the dreaming process, although it requires further exploration. Additionally, some INTJs experience dreams related to typology, highlighting a connection between their cognitive functions and dream content. The chapter wraps up by encouraging further contemplation and study into these observations, inviting readers to delve deeper into understanding dream dynamics and typology.

            • 00:00 - 00:30 Okay, the dream journal test two with INTJs and ENTPs is complete. You can look at the pinned comment and the description to go to the Patreon and get the PDF for free. You don't even need to be a member. This is available to everybody. Took a little longer than expected. Lots of people dropped out, gave them time, tried to contact them, couldn't get a hold of them, so on and so forth. We ended up with about half
            • 00:30 - 01:00 the number of participants we had last time. And if we hadn't done the last dream journal test, I think this one, it would still be useful, but it wouldn't be as useful. The reason I still consider this one useful despite being a son of a [ __ ] a demoralizing son of a [ __ ] I think some patterns are beginning to emerge. But we'll start with the two types. INTJs first. A few patterns I noticed in dealing with them.
            • 01:00 - 01:30 They're very concerned with structure, but they ignore structure. And this is something I noticed about them outside dream journaling. They have this weird thing about structure. It's like they'll focus on focus hard on think everything rests on one aspect of structure while ignoring all the other aspects of structure. They'll choose one thing to get very concerned about at the cost of
            • 01:30 - 02:00 other things they also probably should be concerned about. And then with the dreams, I notice there's this fascination with space and time. They seem interested in the effect time has on things. And when I say space, I don't just mean in the space-time sense. I mean spaces and places, forms, what constitutes things, especially in relation to time, the
            • 02:00 - 02:30 effect time has on these spaces and forms. There also appears to be this creeping dread of formlessness, like there's this malicious thing outside space and time. Water sticks out to me, too, in INTJ dreams. Water shows up in other types dreams, of course, but with INTJ dreams, it seems to show up often, and on an intuitive level, that sticks out to me, and I'm not sure what to do
            • 02:30 - 03:00 with that yet. I'm sure it has something to do with the space and time fascination. Another detail they're very specific about sensory details. Now, we mentioned last time there might be something in the inferior function playing a role in dreams and that tracks here, but I need to think about it more. I also noticed the INTJs dreamed about typology while they were dreaming. Not all of them, but a
            • 03:00 - 03:30 few of them did. And I don't remember that occurring in other types. At least not to that extent. To the extent you are thinking about typology while you're dreaming, trying to work things out on a typological level. Then we have the ENTPs. Only two and one of them had only one dream entry. So that limits what we can do right now. But what I picked up on with what we have, people, especially
            • 03:30 - 04:00 groups of people, feature prominently, but there's no identity to them or very little identity. Again, very limited with what we can do solely with them right here, right now. But everything we gather contributes to figuring more things out later as we gather even more information. And I'm most interested in what might be a pattern in areas of focus in dreams between
            • 04:00 - 04:30 types. I'm beginning to wonder if each type has an unconscious realm of focus. As in in the unconscious world, these are the sorts of things each type focuses on. So, incorporating what we picked up in the last dream journal test, INTPs seem focused on abnormality and ENTJs seem focused on normality. But
            • 04:30 - 05:00 they're both focused on what shouldn't be, but different sides of what shouldn't be. You have the INFJs and their weird thing about travel and morality, but particularly the breaking of morals. And now you have the INTJs with their space-time thing and the water and the form and formal. This is going to take a lot more work to lock down. But I think there's something here.
            • 05:00 - 05:30 And that would be information loaded with implications. What does it mean that people have unconscious areas of focus specific to their type? What does that imply? What does that do for us? What does that mean? And that's why I think the ENTP perspective here is interesting, even though we didn't get a ton of ENTPs. If INTPs and ENTJs are shadow types, and they seem concerned with
            • 05:30 - 06:00 different sides of the same thing, then what is this other side of time and form that ENTPs might be interested in or focused on, dedicated to? Is it the human form or the human blob within the stream? I don't know yet, but I think there's something there to be figured out. And I would have We need to We were supposed to have ENFPs this time. We had
            • 06:00 - 06:30 one ENFP during the data collection. We got no new ENFPs and then the ENFP for the dream journal test dropped out and so did the ISTP which is fine thanks to the INTJs and ENTPs. This is still or the ENTPs who participated. This is still useful and it's all illuminating more of the cavern. We're getting an idea of what there is to look for. So once
