A clip and saved character supply the inputs; distribution has a different charging boundary.
Clip first, character second
Hermoso’s November 2 release, distributed by ABNewswire, describes recasting from an uploaded clip or public social‑video link, combined with a saved AI character or the user’s own face. The company says movements, timing and setting remain while the person changes; that is a product claim, not an independently tested fidelity result.
Creation and distribution
Hermoso says recasting is offered on every plan. Making videos consumes credits, while posting and scheduling are free. Scheduling a generated clip therefore does not remove its creation‑stage credit use.
Accepting a public URL describes an input method. The announcement does not establish permission to reuse a particular clip or likeness.
