Infiterra’s planned AI onboarding studio leaves vendor activation with distributors

By OpenTools Team

Vendor onboarding and MSP purchasing connections describe different sides of the channel.

Preparation is not activation

Infiterra’s November 2 announcement says its AI‑assisted vendor onboarding studio is in development. It would assess new vendors and prepare integrations through the Ladder Integration Framework; the distributor’s own team would activate each vendor.

The proposed AI role is preparation, rather than automatic vendor activation or autonomous purchasing.

Two integration lists, different customers

On the vendor‑platform side, Microsoft integration is live, with AWS and Google on the roadmap.

For MSPs buying from distributors, Ingram Micro is already connected, while Pax8 and TD SYNNEX integrations are developing. Adding a vendor to a distributor’s marketplace and connecting an MSP to distributors are different jobs. Infiterra says roadmap items may change.
