Swave Photonics Secures €6M to Revolutionize 3D Holographics
Swave Photonics, a Belgium-based innovator in holographic display technology, has raised €6 million in follow-on Series A funding, taking their total to over €43 million. This investment, led by IAG Capital Partners and Samsung Ventures, aims to fast-track the commercialization and application of their Holographic eXtended Reality (HXR) platform. By leveraging diffractive photonics on CMOS chips, HXR technology offers true 3D holographic displays, opening avenues in AR/VR, automotive, and medical industries. Recognized with a CES 2025 Innovation Award, the HXR platform is set to disrupt spatial computing.
