What is Adgentek Ad Server?

Adgentek Ad Server is an ad server built for AI apps, chatbots, and agents. It serves clearly labeled native ads in a slot the publisher places in its own interface, matches them to the topic, intent, and decision stage of the conversation, and runs requests through direct, programmatic, CPC, and outcome-priced demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Adgentek Ad Server?
It is an ad server built for AI apps, chatbots, and agents. It serves clearly labeled native ads in the publisher's own interface and matches them to what the conversation is about.
Do the ads appear inside the AI model's answer?
No. Adgentek says nothing is injected into the model's output. The ad renders in a slot the publisher places in its own interface, uses the publisher's styling, and carries a visible Sponsored label.
Where does the ad demand come from?
Requests go through four tiers of demand: direct campaigns, programmatic demand over OpenRTB 2.x, CPC feeds, and outcome-priced CPA budgets. A request that does not clear a higher tier moves down to the next one.
Will it slow down my app?
Adgentek says the ad request runs in parallel with the model completion, not before it. If the decision does not return in time, the slot stays empty and the conversation is unchanged.
What controls do publishers have?
Publishers can choose ad formats and placements, block advertiser categories and specific brands, set frequency caps, and set a minimum quality floor.
What data do demand partners receive?
Adgentek's documentation says demand partners receive derived signals such as IAB content categories, keywords, intent, funnel stage, and extracted entities, plus standard ad request data such as device, IP, and geography when available. Raw conversation messages are not included as a dedicated field in the bid request.
Can it be used in products without a browser UI?
Yes, but not through the Web SDK. Headless agent surfaces can use the AdsMCP integration, which is limited to CPA and filtered CPC demand. Impression-priced CPM demand requires a real browser or app context.
