Cherry Studio is a desktop application that brings all your AI tools into one place. Instead of switching between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and local models, Cherry Studio gives you a single window with access to every major LLM provider plus 300+ pre-configured AI assistants.
The app supports cloud services (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic), AI web services (Claude, Perplexity, Poe), and local models (Ollama, LM Studio). You can run multi-model conversations simultaneously, comparing responses side by side. Each provider gets its own configuration, and API keys are stored locally on your machine.
Cherry Studio goes beyond simple chat. It handles text, images, Office documents, and PDFs. WebDAV integration provides file management and backup. Mermaid chart visualization renders diagrams inline. Code gets syntax highlighting. And the built-in AI translation, global search, and topic management keep your workspace organized.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) support lets you connect to external tool servers, extending what the AI can do. The MCP Hub Server orchestrates multiple MCP servers for complex tool chains. The Browser CDP MCP Server provides web browsing capabilities. These features make Cherry Studio more than a chat interface: it is a full AI workstation.
The app runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux as an Electron application. It supports light and dark themes, transparent window mode, and drag-and-drop organization. An enterprise edition adds admin backend, model access control, employee management, and dedicated private deployment. Cherry Studio is open source under AGPL-3.0.
