No. Takibi Base returns exact passages from your documents with citations and an evidence support score. Your agent uses those passages to compose its own response.
What file types can I upload?
The official docs say Takibi supports PDFs with extractable text, Word .docx files, Markdown, and plain text. Scanned PDFs need OCR before upload, and legacy .doc files are not supported.
Can I control which documents an agent can access?
Yes. Access is managed through Profiles, which control which projects or folders an agent can read. Keys in the same Profile share those permissions.
Can agents keep notes or work items between tasks?
Yes. Agents can leave Notes tied to a Profile, and users can review, keep, remove, or collect them into a draft. Notes are separate from source documents and expire after 30 days.
Can I export my data from Takibi Base?
Yes. You can download original files or export a project, including its structure, in Open Knowledge Format (OKF).
What does Takibi Base require for agent access?
An agent can connect if it can run the Takibi CLI or make authenticated HTTP requests to the API. The CLI requires Node.js 20 or newer.
