Special Guest - Dr Didier Transcription
00:00 - 00:30 Benu Benito and welcome. What did you say? Three languages. Yes. You know this program is only for those who speaks a lot of languages. If you speak in you pray in the spirit, you you will understand by the power of the Holy Ghost. If you speak in French, you're going to hear it. If you speak Japanese, the Holy Spirit will it will help you translate. Well, I'm super excited. Yes,
00:30 - 01:00 we are. Honey, you look so beautiful today. Can I marry you again? Sure. This is our 15 year anniversary. Are you sure? It's like, you know, 200 years ago, you know. So, no, that's just beautiful. When you get around, you know, you married the right person. You don't, you know, time goes fast. Well, it does. You know, I used to wonder if if there were people they just pretended to be happy or they actually liked being married. But I love being married to you. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Wow. I
01:00 - 01:30 got a fever of God. All right. So, this is not about marriage or dating or anything. So, we just having fun, you know. So, I like to try to make him blush. Yeah. You know, by the way, you know what? She was flirting with me earlier on the back and she was just kissing me, you know, and doing my makeup. That's dangerous, you know.
01:30 - 02:00 All right, let's let's have fun. So, we are very very excited to to be live and talking to you and uh so for us it is an answer to prayer. So, you want to you want to you want to uh go ahead. Yeah. Well, I'm really excited because we have um someone who is very special to our family here. So he is our leazison um for all of the work we do in Togo with the um orphanage and the crusades. He's
02:00 - 02:30 your cousin and he's also a colonel in the military. Um and in the military he's an eye surgeon. So he's a doctor very honorable. Yeah. you know person you know in character in everything all the quality to have you know uh uh this kind of person you know to represent the kingdom of God. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So so and trusted someone you
02:30 - 03:00 you know we can trust is very trusted person. Yeah. So he handle all our finances every everything back home. So you know you know I I can trust him you know probably you know and I probably apart from probably I trust him more than even some of my close my my own you know family members you know what I'm saying I'm talking about you know uh yeah so that's how far I can go yeah well and and uh he's a mighty man of God
03:00 - 03:30 so we're very excited to welcome Dr. DDA. Thank you. Thank you for being here all the ways from Togo. I want to express myself to say thank you for all you are doing for our uh mission in Togo. I'm very excited also to meet you especially today and uh use this a great opportunity to thank all our partners those who are giving their
03:30 - 04:00 uh material their financial support it help and they well appreciated from Togo. Amen. Amen. Amen. So wow wow folks we are so blessed uh to you know to have all of you being you know our partner all our partners. Wow. What a tremendous bless blessing that you are. God maybe great asset for the kingdom of God.
04:00 - 04:30 Amen. You know some of you you know this we need to understand when Jesus give us the great commission say go to represent me or preach the gospel. Yeah. And one of the things I have noticed that not everybody, you know, we can we can all we can now all all of us pack our stuff, get into a plane and go to China. It's not going to happen, you know, in one time, you know, and when you give into a ministry or something like this, you are
04:30 - 05:00 going with us. Yeah. Because the Bible says where your money is, what your heart also is involved in it. So you are preaching the gospel. You may not be able to get a visa to travel to to Togo but you your giving your partnership is empowering us for us to go and and guess what heaven is going to reward you for the harvest. So, so that's why we want
05:00 - 05:30 to thank all our partners for your faithfulness, your partnership. You've been, you guys are an asset. I wish that's the best way I can express how grateful we are for your love for this precious kid, you know. Yeah. Well, and that's why we wanted to take a minute to say thank you, but then to also share a little bit of the work that's being done in Togo right now. Um, so we have some pictures of some of the different
05:30 - 06:00 things. So the orphanage is near and dear to my heart. That's one of the things God placed on my heart. Before we even got married, I told my husband, I was like, I don't know how, but I'm just letting you know I at some point I want to have an orphanage. It's just always been on my heart. And so it's just such a blessing to be able to be the answer. See, God puts desires on the inside of our hearts so that we can be an answer to a need. And there is such a need in Togo. Um, and so DDA helps us with when
06:00 - 06:30 we send food there. And I think we have some pictures. Um, he's the one that gets the food and gets it delivered to the orphanage. Um, and so we're constantly sending food. Last year we did a well, but just recently there was a tornado that hit, and those of us in the Midwest can relate with that. Um but the tornado tore the roof off of the and there's the picture right there of some of the food being delivered. That's a
06:30 - 07:00 few of the kids um from the orphanage. And usually when you know no by the way uh DG I think we have how many total we have pray the kids we have I think 7 73 73 kids present that we that your your partnership is blessed is uh is helping so we can keep what their belly full so they can stay healthy. Yeah. And and can I just say without your support the these kids wouldn't have food. um God is
07:00 - 07:30 using you to be the answer to feed these kids. So um it's very important that um your partnership is just critical. We so appreciate it because it's helping so many kids. Um you know and you know the tornado. Yeah. I know you're talking about tornado. The tornado. Yes. We are familiar with a tornado. We are familiar with I think last year. Is it last year? Wow. Well last Yeah. That's been a year ago um in April last month that a tornado hit here in Omaha um Nebraska and we're still locally working with
07:30 - 08:00 about 50 families that were impacted by the tornado. Um but internationally, so in Togo when the tornado hit, the difference is most people here have insurance for a tornado. Um it's very different in a third world country. And so the tornado ripped um a huge part of the roof off. You can see the picture there um where the roof is just completely gone. And so they had to move all of the food so the food didn't get
08:00 - 08:30 destroyed. And you can see everything stacked against the back wall there. So one of the things that we're working on now and we want to ask for your help with is fixing the roof. Yeah. Um because we need How many of you know you if there's 73 kids living there, there needs to be a roof over the top of um the building so that you know and and it also needs because of the tornado, it also needs reinforced. So the structure
08:30 - 09:00 needs to have some reinforcement. We need to look into that so we can uh uh re reinforce the structure, you know, so that way uh it doesn't happen again. Yeah, we praying. I believe in the power of prayer too because sometimes, you know, uh prayer can do things that even though you have a strong, you know, facility or building that prayer is the the one of the mightiest force against, you know, uh all the this nonsense from
09:00 - 09:30 hell. You know what I'm saying? So, and uh so we, you know, we we are excited to be part of this project. I'm excited, you Well, and if you would like to give a special gift to help um with the people that were impacted by the tornado with just repairing the roof in Tokco. Hey, we should have a video. I know I know they're going to show a video. Uh they should have a video plan. Uh so we can I think we're going to continue if you guys let us know if you're ready for the video to show how what was going on.
09:30 - 10:00 That's fine. But let's continue. going to say if you would if you want to give a special gift to help repair the roof and then DDA is going to share a story with us from the orphanage. But if you would like to give a special gift, you can donate at salafu ministries.org. And I really encourage you to consider becoming a monthly donor uh because that helps us year round be able to ensure that the orphanage has the food that they need and when there is a critical need that comes up, we can
10:00 - 10:30 start making some of those steps to start getting it done. So please consider joining us um as a monthly partner. Just $35 a month makes a huge impact. And you could also if you wanted to just make a onetime gift to help with a roof repair, we would really appreciate that. Amen. Um, so I wanted to just show a video quick from the orphanage um, with the roof loss. So if we can go to that video, we can't keep it talking, you know. Yeah. So here they're moving food out
10:30 - 11:00 cuz they the roof is gone. So now they're having to move um all of the food out, you know, enough food to feed 73 kids a day. And there you can see the roof um where it's been completely torn off. Um and there too both sides of the wall the the and so see all the water on the ground because then it's just raining inside because there's no roof. Wow. So we really need to get that repaired is right away. Yeah. Right away. So that's very important. And do you know do we know about how much the
11:00 - 11:30 the roof is? Have we gotten final estimates yet? Yeah, we we are asking to get a total. So we I think we'll we will update give an update about all our partners so they know how much you know uh look I think what we're going to do I I believe this what this this my you know my prayer because there's there's so much so much there's a lot of needs in that orphanage right now. Yeah. Well and they need beds. They need beds. So there's things that we want to do to be
11:30 - 12:00 a blessing to those precious kid. You know Jesus says whatever you do to these precious ones you know you are taking care of me folks I want to take care of Can you imagine God say you take care of me so that's why I'm excited that through my finances I can I'm going to take care of God no let's let's this I'm get excited about this you know that's what some of us we were born for such time as this to partner with God listen to this that you are walking with God
12:00 - 12:30 to be a blessing to his creation. It is a big deal. That's why I'm excited that God needs me. You know sometime sometime religion has has had wash our brain that we don't know our value the importance that we we ought to him. You know what I'm saying? To keep making the impact. You know Jesus has gone to heaven. He lefts us here so we can well keep the keep keep walk keep taking care
12:30 - 13:00 of the the the widow the poor the unfortunate you know what I'm saying so I'm excited that when Jesus separated the do something else yeah go ahead well I was just going to say to your point when he separated the sheep from the goat he said I was hungry and you fed me naked and you clothed me and they said when did we do this and he said whatever you did to the least of these you did to me back to your point but I you know it's important. It's the heart of God. So I know for I know we have a lot of
13:00 - 13:30 talking but we have we let our special guest you know uh tell us this you know one of the one of the testimony folks you're going to be so blessed to uh to hear this testimony what your partnership the difference that is making. So DJ, if you don't mind, I know I want you to share the the testimony uh about, you know, what God is doing, you know, uh in that orphanage. And so yeah, we we thank God for this orphanage we
13:30 - 14:00 call bed. H it's a center that is uh recruiting people the abandoned children kids on the on the roads and they they give them the well education to improve their their personality to become well known on the world in the world by the grace of God. Uh one history I want to share with you is about uh the the lady the young lady we call lady Grace uh his her dad left mom and Grace and after the
14:00 - 14:30 mom had no finance to support Grace. So he she she didn't want children to staff. So she decide to took their children to as police station to ask them for support. The police station don't have didn't have any possibility. They brought lady to orphanage bed. So from that day grace receive all the
14:30 - 15:00 support from you and now grace is after spending four years with us. grace changed totally and the to be recognized to the orphanage center. Her mother is now a friend to the orphanage. She come to help us to cook to do something to help other orphans. Wow. What a thank you for your gift. Well, and I think I what I love about that story. Yeah. is
15:00 - 15:30 so Grace was a little girl and her mom was her mom didn't want her daughter to starve to death. But you have to remember it's not like the United States. So they don't have the assistance program. She couldn't run to a food pantry and get food to feed her child. So she took her child to the police station desperate because she didn't want her daughter to starve to death. Can you imagine as a mom? I mean I have two boys. I I just can't imagine being at a place where I had to, you
15:30 - 16:00 know, I couldn't feed my kid. There were no resources. And so she's literally taking her daughter to the police saying, "Please, is there anything I can do so my daughter doesn't starve to death?" And the orphanage was the answer um so that her daughter could be fed and her mom was able to get to a place where she's now come back and giving back to the orphanage. But she her daughter would have died if it weren't for the orphanage. if her mom didn't have a place um to bring her daughter because her and her daughter had been completely
16:00 - 16:30 abandoned. And so yeah, the orphanage was is not only kept her alive but also provided her with an education. I love that you know um they are able to do their schooling so that when they graduate from the orphanage they're able to get a job and also they they they allow them to go to trade school. Yeah. And that way they they can when they when they when they when when they get a get a diploma some of them are coming
16:30 - 17:00 back giving back to the orphanage to be a blessing to you know uh so many kids that's that's that's that's what I want to take a time to explain not just we are feeding them physically but spiritually they were fed well they they you know they read the Bible they pray with them. You know what I'm saying? These kids are prayer warriors. Trust me, they are praying for all of you. You know, in daily basis. And I always say,
17:00 - 17:30 they ask me, "What can we do for you?" I said, "Pray for us. That's what I need." So we can be healthy, strong in the game. And they are praying with all our part. They are praying for you folks. And uh and God is hearing your prayer. And you know, and Jesus is going to answer. Jesus is going to answer your prayer because of this precious kid because they have a strong faith. Trust me. Yeah. Well, and you're you're an answer to their prayer. Prayer too. Um like DDA was saying, some of these kids
17:30 - 18:00 were just abandoned in the street and the orphanage took them in and you were the answer to their prayer because of you. Um they have a place to live, they have food, they have education. So, wow, what what a testimony. You know, it's not only the orphanage. We got so many things that we do. So, for sake of time, but you know what it is? I'm excited. Thank you, Jesus, for you know, I don't know. I get excited for stuff like this because I'm making a difference. And God
18:00 - 18:30 is very well placed with me. And that's, you know, I was born for such a time like this to make a difference. But can I tell you the devil didn't like it? Yeah. My my first 5 years, seven years in this land, it was like a hell. The enemy was came against me just to destroy my life for so many lies. But I thank God for the power of the Holy Ghost who kept me in the game. Because I
18:30 - 19:00 say devil, you are a liar. You have lost big time. And that's why it says as long as Jesus is still on the throne, I'm going to crush your head. Period. By serving and helping the unfortunate and preaching the gospel, saving saving the lost and casting out devils. That's what we were born in such time as this. Amen. You know, and uh to establish the kingdom of God in the land of the living. and your
19:00 - 19:30 partnership is helping us to to make the difference. And I'm so excited and I pray that God will continue blessing you and protecting you and supplying to you every needs of yours in the name of Jesus, you know. And also, see, I'm I'm getting excited about this. So, we do have a you know, we do share the gospel. We we sponsor a crusade. uh I believe
19:30 - 20:00 last year we we uh uh we we sponsored the whole crusade. It's not it's not just like even the year before that we have thousand people came and they they they were the life were touched by just hearing the gospel and life and also not just the the spiritual food that they have received but we provide food to everyone that came to that crusade. Yeah. Yeah. We do we do provide food for every person that came to that crusade.
20:00 - 20:30 Wow, what a testimony. And uh and on top of that, for another day, you can see pictures of the crusade, the salvation, they're calling for salvation. I wish I wish you have a but we have so many picture. We're going to show we're going to post a lot of pictures on our website. So you can really see what exactly was going. But look at all the people getting saved. Isn't that amazing? Coming forward and giving their life to Christ. Thank you, Jesus. You know that is such a blessing to see so many people give their life to Jesus.
20:30 - 21:00 Wow. This precious kid. I used to be one of them though. Yeah. I used to be one of them and I thank God by the grace of God God pull me out to train me so I can go back. Yeah. You know, even I'm here but I'm making a difference. Well, and I just love, you know, how God orchestrated everything with DDA and you because, you know, we we couldn't do what we're doing in Togo without DDA. So, we also want to just say a huge thank you to DDA for all of your hard
21:00 - 21:30 work coordinating everything. And you are welcome. I'm the one who thank you and all the beneficial the the man of God. We have given support to them. They really enjoy it and want me on on their behalf. I want to say thanks. God bless you abundantly. Amen. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. And you know I know he mentioned something that we we pay we stopped paying some of them a salary monthly
21:30 - 22:00 bas. Yeah. Pastor. Yeah. Pastors because we want to you know some a lot of people are willing to go to the field but but for because of lack of financial support they you know the enemy has been using that to to to slow them down. So, and we we are thinking about if I if I'm if I'm I'm speaking right we are even thinking about uh what is it provide transportation to the you know some of
22:00 - 22:30 the areas. So yeah, so the pastors can get there to preach. And and here's the thing that that's so great is that it's awesome if we go there and preach. But when you can get people that are native to the language, they speak the native language and the language there. They're part of the community and they're being raised up as pastors. God has called them to pastor those people. If we can equip them so that they can go and do the work of the ministry and preach. Yeah. in some of the villages, which is why
22:30 - 23:00 transportation is so important, so they can get into some of those areas and be able to share the gospel. And so being able to support local pastors um is so very important. You know, like I said, we love the crusades. We love being able to travel and preach, but we want to be able to support local pastors that are in the community um so that they're able to do the work of the ministry. Amen. Amen. So and on top of that so there's a lot of you we are a lot of
23:00 - 23:30 difference that we are making and we start partner with uh uh shalom au shalom and for humanitarian services you know this is in the capital l in hospitals and uh so and there's so much we want to accomplish well and this is so can I explain so um I'm going to explain DDA feel free to jump in anytime. But he speaks English very well, but it's not it's his third or fourth language, right? So So I'm going
23:30 - 24:00 to explain his ministry a little bit of what um he's doing in um Togo, but please interrupt me if and you can add whatever you want. Okay. But God spoke to him and it very similar. So in Togo, one of the things and we some somewhat have dealt with this in the US, but this idea that the only way to do ministry is if you become a pastor or an evangelist, right? That if you're going into ministry, but he God really called him
24:00 - 24:30 to to teach what we call in America marketplace ministry. That you can be a doctor, a lawyer, a professional. No matter what you're doing, God has called you to ministry. And so um very one of the other things just really quickly just to explain cultural differences. If you grew up in the US a lot of high schools require volunteer work or they hire highly encourage it. It's not like that in third world countries. There's been this mentality of taking and not giving. And so he's teaching people how
24:30 - 25:00 to live out their faith and do the work of the ministry. And so, um, this is part of what he's doing with this is is teaching people why it's important that they get involved in volunteering in being the answer to some of the problems that they have or some of the needs in their community. So, I know recently you guys went out to the hospital, you took gifts and stuff to the kids and um was
25:00 - 25:30 such a blessing. And then in in August, they're going to be doing an outreach to some of the orphanages and providing food. And so we want to partner um and continue to partner with their ministry um because not only are they they doing great things to reach kids, but they're really calling on everyone to get involved in teaching them why they should um just like James says, right? We're not we're not just supposed to be hearers of the word, but doers, right?
25:30 - 26:00 We need to make sure that we're out doing. We're sharing the love of Christ um with people that are in need. So So anyway, when you give to Salafi Ministries, you're supporting the orphanage, the Crusades, and now this wonderful ministry. Uh what what's the name of it again? Abu Dhom. Abu Dhom. Yeah.
