So what you currently have your current life, your current income, your current success, your current quality of life, you feel like that's normal to you right now, right? Even if you don't like it, even if you want change, even if you want better, your dayto-day life feels normal for you. It might even feel kind of safe
04:00 - 04:30 because it's just familiar. You're used to it. you know what to expect even if you don't like it to your subconscious to your nervous system. You currently have trained it to feel like that is what you have the capacity to hold. If you want more, what you need to do is you need to expand your subconscious mind and your nervous system so that its capacity can hold, can receive things to a greater, larger
04:30 - 05:00 level. Have you ever noticed that you have almost like a thermostat on your life? Like if it's with money as an example, sometimes you might earn more than that, sometimes you might earn less than that, but it always goes back to a certain number. There's always kind of if you average all the months out, a baseline that you earn. And so a mistake that people make with manifestation is they want to earn more. So they focus on
05:00 - 05:30 more and they script about more and they put more on their vision board and they visualize more and they imagine themselves being so grateful and oh my god, this is so incredible. more money is coming in, but it still doesn't feel normal. It still doesn't feel safe to have. Their nervous system, their subconscious mind is still worried if your friends and family might reject you, if you're going to be able to handle the tax bills, if that's going to come with negative consequences, or if
05:30 - 06:00 somebody might take it all away from you, or you might lose it all, or if you're going to have to work so much for that that you're going to have no life. And so you can be scripting about it, dreaming about it, visualizing it, but if it doesn't feel as normal and available to you and within the realms of normal day-to-day living, your subconscious mind will continue to reject it. And how does it reject it? It rejects it in the form of you falling off track, not being consistent, uh
06:00 - 06:30 getting distracted with other shiny objects. Um self-sabotaging at the last minute, listening to people who say that you can't and letting that sway you because it's actually kind of what you've already been telling yourself anyway. So, their words have power over you. And so, instead, what do we need to do? Well, what I did at the beginning of last year was I spent three months just marinating my brain in the idea that the
06:30 - 07:00 amount of money that I did want that I'd never been able to accomplish before was my new normal. I talked to myself. I recorded myself using this app called Parrot, which you can download for free. And I recorded like a voice note to myself just talking about, "Wow, Lucy, do you remember when that amount of money, like you can obviously say the amount of money, do you remember when that amount of money felt like a big deal and now it's literally just your normal dayto-day. It comes in every
07:00 - 07:30 single month and I also soothe my brain by saying things like, "And you know what? Life feels the same. The only difference is I'm able to put so much more into my savings every month." But the only difference is whatever you want, the positive thing that you want to be able to do with more money. Please don't make the mistake of going, "Okay, Lucy recorded this voice note, so I must record the voice note." Record the voice note if you want to. But here is the key. Whether you record yourself a voice note or write a scripting letter or
07:30 - 08:00 create a vision board or listen to affirmations or anything like that, make sure that while you're doing so, your body feels calm and safe. And as you hear the affirmation about that amount of money or you visualize yourself with that amount of money or you read your scripting letter, whatever it is, check in with how your body is feeling. Because if your body is feeling stressed about it, lack, desperate,
08:00 - 08:30 scared, like general anxiety, you can be talking about it, but your nervous system doesn't feel safe about it. This is where doing things like tapping can be a great help. And just simply the easiest trick of all is breathing. So, while I was walking the dog this morning, I recorded myself a new voice note of the new level of life that I want to normalize and expand
08:30 - 09:00 into. And then when I was listening back to it, I made sure that as I heard the words that my body was really feeling at ease and calm about it while I was listening to it. while I was thinking about it. And it's not necessarily like you can do it straight away. It's a practice. Okay? Keep practicing. And some of you might be thinking, "Oh,
09:00 - 09:30 Lucy, you know, I'm always I'm always stressed. I have anxiety. I suffer from chronic anxiety." Just start by taking 10 deep slow breaths. And when you take those 10 slow deep breaths, your mind will still be chatting and your mind will be saying to you, "Oh, this this isn't working." Then just stick with it and take another 10 slow, deep breaths. And your mind
09:30 - 10:00 might be getting bored and you might be thinking, "Oh my god, is this happening fast enough? Am I relaxed yet?" And just trust the process. Take another 10 slow, deep breaths. And all of a sudden, you will notice that you feel more relaxed because your breathing is commanding to your body
10:00 - 10:30 that you are not in danger, that all is well, and that you are safe. Now, a mistake that most people make is they hear me say this and they try it once and maybe they even feel good, but then they don't do it again. They don't commit to it. 12:00 - 12:30 So let yourself feel calm in your body. You can feel calm in your body. No matter what your brain tries to tell you, you have the capacity to use the power of your breath. Take a step out into nature and go for a walk doing it at the same time if that helps because
