Client telemetry leaves a lower bound.
Coverage
GitHub’s November 3 notice separates client‑measured local bring‑your‑own‑key usage from server‑observed enterprise custom models. Disabled telemetry can undercount local activity; missing provider token reports can understate local token counts.1
Totals
BYOK subsets already sit inside existing totals; adding them again double‑counts usage. Local BYOK has no model‑name breakdown; earlier report days lack the custom‑model flag.1 The earlier client breakdown explains which traffic that view covers.
