Microsoft’s AI council playbook separates priorities from delivery

By OpenTools Team

The October 29 resource links process improvement to delivery ownership and measurement before launch.

Before automation

Microsoft Digital’s October 29 playbook puts workflow improvement ahead of automation. Its strategy council chooses priorities; product owners deliver. Teams complete an initial assessment before starting work, with deeper release assessment when the scenario requires it.

Measure the handoff

Before launch, projects need a baseline, telemetry and measurement ownership. The guide also asks where saved capacity is reinvested. For a support team, a faster summary would not alone establish a smaller backlog: that outcome needs its own measure.
