Steam requires build readiness

By OpenTools Team

AI disclosure is a separate check.

Playtime

Valve’s November 3 Steamworks notice requires at least five minutes of play launched through Steam before review submission. Playtime must fall within seven days, or since the last build if it is older than seven days. Launching the executable alone is insufficient.1

Disclosure

Reviewers also compare a game with its content survey, including AI usage. Disclosure and functional readiness answer different questions: what the game contains, and whether the submitted build works as advertised. The notice does not announce an AI ban.1
