Glean agent authorization routes

By OpenTools Team

Shared ServiceNow identity differs from one‑call approval.

Configured identity

Glean’s November 3 release lets admins configure a ServiceNow service credential. Agents can use a shared service account instead of each user’s authorization. This concerns ServiceNow, not every agent tool.

Lent access

Separately, independent agents can request an approver’s access to a user‑authorized tool, lent for that call. Credential lifetime, rotation and audit attribution remain unspecified here; approval alone does not establish those controls.1

For output audiences, see delivery and discovery rules.
